Wine Getaway with a View at Wongalere Farmhouse

Our newly renovated, self-contained farmhouse just out of Meadows, is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale wine regions. Everything you need for the perfect country side getaway is included. Explore the property and nearby forests, say hello to our resident alpacas, pop by our Karrawatta Cellar Door just over the hill, or cosy up by the fire - There is plenty to see and do in the Adelaide Hills. Spacious, yet cosy and comfortable with modern amenities and incredible views from the living room which opens out onto an entertainment deck complete with outdoor dining table and BBQ. The lounge room features a slow combustion heater, firewood provided, and there is an outdoor fire place for bonfires. The main bedroom and adjoining bedroom features views of the rolling hills. We can meet you upon arrival to explain the property and its features, but otherwise will not be around, although can be contacted if needed. We own Karrawatta Cellar Door which is just over the hill, a 5-minute drive away, so if you need any assistance we can be there pretty easily. Located just outside of quaint Meadows. Meadows is a small community with a strong country town vibe. There is a bakery, butcher, pub, cafes and a general store. Neighbouring the actual property are other farms including cattle and alpacas. It's a beautiful spot, rolling green hills and true countryside peacefulness.
