Situated in a quiet cul de sac, in a small town, on the Silver Coast, this spacious, 3 bedroom, detached villa has everything one requires from a comfortable holiday home. Apart from the 3 bedrooms, all with sea views, there are 3 bathrooms, one of which is en suite, a spacious living room, a well equipped kitchen. There are also 2 parking spaces in front of the house. The house is ideally situated geographically, being 35/40 minutes by car from Lisbon airport, it is close to the historical town of Obidos and the beautiful market town of Caldas da Rainha and a mere 15 minutes from the surfing centre of Peniche. The town of Lourinha is just minutes away and here one can find numerous good restaurants and cafes and 3 large supermarkets. Lourinha also boasts a charming museum where one can enjoy not only the famous dinosaur exhibit but also a section dedicated to the artisan history of the town. The house is also only15/20 minutes walk to wonderful beaches (3 minutes by car). These are the famous sand beaches that comprise the Silver Coast, reckoned to be the best surfing beaches in all of Europe. Our local beach, Praia da Areia Branca, not only offers a stunning beach but also some good restaurants and bars. Moreover, for the golf enthusiast, the house is close to 17 clubs some of which have good international reputations: Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort (17.4 km) Praia d'El Rey Golf & Beach Resort (14.2 km) and Guardian Bom Sucesso (8.8 km) to name but 3. Finally, if one just wants to stay at home and relish in the fact that the only sound one can hear from the garden is bird song accompanied by the sound of the sea, one can simply relax and grill by the pool. There is always a manager who can be contacted at any time. The pool is heated, but one must remember that it is an outdoor pool, not a spa, and the temperature of the pool is influenced by the air temperature. Without the heater the pool temperature would be several degrees cooler. It is impossible for an uncovered, outside pool to reach spa pool temperatures.
