The Space: With traditional features and plenty of flare, Edwardian Seaside Townhouse is packed with character. The property boasts two living rooms so there is ample space for 7 guests to relax. On an evening, you can curl up on the sofa with your loved ones and fire up the log burner when it’s chilly outside. Light floods into the kitchen diner from the large window making it a great place to relax and socialise. Fully equipped with modern appliances and cookware, you’ll have everything you could need to prepare home cooked meals. The dining area includes a long wooden table, four chairs and bench. Head upstairs and you’ll find four bedrooms and the family bathroom. The master bedroom boasts a king size bed and the second bedroom has a double. Ideal for children and teenagers, the third bedroom is a twin and the fourth bedroom features a single bed. Each bed has premium bed linens and plush bedding so every care has been taken to ensure you have the best sleep possible. Traditional in style, the family bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower and basin. There are WCs on the first and ground floors. Outside you’ll find a beautiful enclosed garden which is perfect for children to play in. There is also outdoor furniture where you can enjoy alfresco meals. Guest Access: Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date. Free on street parking is available and no permit is required. The Neighborhood: Edwardian Seaside Townhouse is located in the charming Victorian Spa town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea on the North Yorkshire coast. Located in the heart of the town, the property is just a short walk from the many restaurants, cafes and bars so you’ll be perfectly placed. A short 10-minute will bring you to the beach and lower promenade. Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance. Saltburn has plenty of beautiful walks too. The Valley Gardens are a maze of paths and tracks which wind through the flowers and woodland. If you want to explore further, The Cleveland Way National Trail is over 100 miles long and Saltburn is included. If you fancy a 17.5 mile jaunt, start at Saltburn and walk your way to Sandsend. This walk is a great way to explore the North Yorkshire coastline and the views are beautiful! Getting Around: Edwardian Seaside Townhouse is within walking distance of all that Saltburn has to offer and within 30 minutes’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Middlesbrough and the North Yorkshire Moors. Saltburn Train Station is a short walk away and has routes to Longbeck, Redcar, Middlesbrough and Darlington with connecting trains to Newcastle, York, Leeds, Manchester and London. There are plenty of bus routes throughout Saltburn. Hop on the Arriva North East route and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Staithes, Runswick Bay and Whitby. The Moorsbus route has drop offs at Newton Under Roseberry, Great Ayton, Stokesley and Helmsley.
