It is the perfect getaway location for 2-4 adults. The kitchenette provides ample space to prepare light meals with ease using the large microwave oven. Enjoy specialty coffees & teas that are available to you. A sunny morning on your private patio overlooking a serene park-like setting is a perfect start to any day! As our guest, you’ll have exclusive self-access to the private, fully furnished lower level walkout suite. A locked door separates the lower and upper levels. Your own private parking area is easy and convenient. Use the stairs or the short grassy incline to your private self check-in entrance. Relax on your patio or swing on your hammock and watch the deer grazing below and eagles soaring above. This serene setting is stress free and comfortable. We will provide you with fresh fruits and farm-fresh eggs, direct from our favourite local farm. Prepare as you like in your kitchen & enjoy for your breakfast or as a late night snack. Prefer Waffles with Syrup? You’ll find those too. Complimentary WIFI & TV with Netflix are available for your entertainment. ***There is no washer/dryer in the suite but laundry can be done in our space if necessary*** Whether your stay is short or long, this space is perfect. Just 3 mins drive to the quaint village of Cowichan Bay, marina, restaurants, artisan shops, kayaking & incredible whale watching opportunities with Ocean Ecoventure Whale Watching Tours. The Cowichan Valley or ‘Napa of the North’ is home to 14 unique wineries and making a name for the area as a destination wine region. All located within 6-20 mins of your suite, so spend an afternoon sitting in one of their lush, beautiful gardens while enjoying your new favourite wine. Just a 9 min scenic drive you’ll find the Cowichan Golf club. The club will provide you with a terrific day of golf, beautiful scenery, challenging holes, excellent service, and a great club-house and restaurant. Up for beach combing one afternoon? Take a short scenic drive to Cherry Point Beach and collect beautiful seashells amongst the plentitude of Sand Dollars. Be sure to check the tide times before you go. Victoria is located an easy 40 minute drive, spend the day exploring the beautiful city or walking around the world famous Butchart Gardens. If hiking is your plan for a day then Mount Tzouhalem is sure to please with its hiking trails, amazing views and ecological reserve just minutes from home. Want amazing views and an easy trail? Stony Hill in Maple Bay is a must-do & a photographer’s dream location. Another favourite is the Kinsol Trestle Bridge, a scenic drive through Shawnigan Lake to a wonderful place with an easy walk and incredible views. Interested in a whale watching tour? Don’t forget to explore Salt Spring Island for the day. An easy, scenic ferry ride that you’ll be glad you did. As an active and adventurous family, we have experienced many of the local tours, restaurants, winery’s & amazing hiking spots. We are happy to help you plan a perfect stay, with plenty to do. Rolf and I live on the 2nd and 3rd floors. We have a very friendly German Shepherd called ‘Rio’. He's well-behaved and doesn’t have access to your suite. He is always contained and under our control. Rio never barks and wont cause any stresses during your visit. We hike with him every morning....like to join us? Just let us know and we’ll show you some beautiful trails. Guests MUST be double vaccinated.
