Luxury central Portishead apartment with sea view
'Baywood' is a beautiful two-bedoom annexe - set in a woodland right on the waters edge with views of the sea and the coastline. Only a few minutes walk from cafes, bars, shops, an outdoor lido, marina, parks - and all that Portishead has to offer. Below is a stone beach, which can be accessed via the gardens of the historic pub at the end of the road - which was built in the 1830's and offers beautiful views and a quality menu. 'Baywood' is a high end self-contained annexe - dating back to the early 1800's - surrounded by woodland gardens and estuary views towards the welsh coastline. There is a stylish open-plan kitchen/ diner/ living room and two bedrooms, boasting two bathrooms. The kitchen is dual aspect with beautiful garden and sea views. It has a dishwasher, oven and microwave and - features a peninsula with stools to seat four people for dining. The living room area has a smart enabled Samsung TV and there is also wif-fi. The tranquil master bedroom has views of the water, original shutters - plus a kingsize bed and en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, which are bunk beds. There is also a family bathroom with full size bath and shower - as well as a laundry/ utility cupboard with washing machine and a tumble dryer in the hallway. There is off-street parking for one car and 'Baywood' has it's own private entrance. Towels, bed linen, soap are provided. A high chair is available if required. Other notes: - No Smoking or vaping - No Pets - We are in a very quiet residential area so it is not suitable for loud guests or parties. We're happy for guests to enjoy the gardens alongside us - and we do have garden games like netball, soft archery and boules if you wish to borrow. The annexe is part of our family home so we will generally be on hand if needed and will always been on the end of a phone too. Our road is a very tranquil and a highly unique environment despite it's central Portishead location - we even have a pair of resident Kestrels. It's very popular with local walkers who come to gaze at the fantastic views and soak up the peaceful woodland atmosphere. The marina is right at the end of the road down a flight of stone steps, so perfect for a wander down to one of the coffee shops, bars or for crabbing on the pontoon and a pint at one of our local bars. Portishead is well placed for Bristol, M5 users and also for those working across the bridge in Wales. We do have our cat who lives in the main house but enjoys roaming the garden too.
