Set in a leafy garden, the house is 150 metres from the centre of action on High Street Northcote and a stones throw from affordable and fine dining restaurants, bars live music venues and an IGA supermarket. Transport is a breeze with the No. 86 tram (CBD and La Trobe Uni) 250 metres away and two train stations within a 5-7 minute walk. This room is the perfect base for the solo traveller or business person visiting Melbourne. The room at the front of the house is quiet, a generous size and includes a table for study and taking meals. Guests have access to the front vehandah and garden for rest and relaxation and use of the kitchen amenities on a heat and eat basis or to make tea or coffee. Bedroom, bathroom and front veranda. Salt (the kitty) and Pepper (the Collie pup) and i will be pottering about the house and garden most of the time. This is an older style house and the toilet is located toward the rear of the house.
