🚵🏽Private Garden Studio & Shower, nr Peak District🧗🏻

A large, pet-friendly and peaceful studio with its own adjacent shower room, in separate part of our house, with your own entrance to ensure your privacy. This is not a flat but a studio isolated from the rest of our home. Superking bed, chromecast TV, combi-microwave, kettle, drawers, wardrobe, easy chair, table, chairs, fridge, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Our 1920’s Arts and Craft home resides on top of one of Sheffield’s seven hills, with amazing views. We hope you enjoy your stay! Our guests have the privacy of their large studio bedroom with big windows that lets the light flood in plus the adjoining shower room. Both are accessed from your own hallway in the basement of our house, which we treat as private to you throughout you stay. You will have your own personal entrance directly from the garden into this hallway, which also has a basis utility area. And we provide you with a key to this space to give you complete freedom to come and go as you please. There is a also a separate seating area in the garden outside the studio window for you exclusive use. This ensures you can be isolated from us. COVID19 We work for the NHS and in the care sector with vulnerable people. Even as lockdown lifted, we have therefore remained cautious in terms of contact. 1/ Cleaning We both work in the health and care sector, and are meticulous about deep cleaning and disinfecting the space between each stay. Please note this is an 100 year-old and characterful property and so its surfaces and design, which are not modern, reflect this. Please consider this in your observations. Equally we can not control spiders who may appear overnight or bees in the day :o) Sheffield Honey have hives in the field beyond the garden - we recommend it - it’s delicious! 2/ Breakfast Usually we provide a cooked breakfast, if desired, in our arts and craft dining room. Sadly because of the type of work we do in the health and care sector, we are not offering this at present. In the meantime, we do offer breakfast baskets delivered to your door, upon request for an additional charge. 3/ Dishwasher Usually we provide guests access to our kitchen, in particular the dishwasher. However again due to NHS and care workers Covid19 work policies we do not do this currently. Therefore we provide guests with all the means necessary to wash up by hand. Alternatively we can put all crockery through our own dishwasher. If guests wish to do this, they can arrange with us directly to leave dishes once a day at the top of the stairs for us to put through our dishwasher overnight. CHILDREN There is a toddler’s bed or travel cot available upon request. The room is large enough to accommodate these. Please ask in advance so we can prepare accordingly. Please note there are open stairs within the property and the garden is on a steep slop with various stone steps. Parental supervision is advised. If you need children’s toys, games and books please ask and we can provide a suitable selection. PETS Part of our family is Hester, a miniature schnoodle and cats, Flaire and Albus. Pets are very welcome guests in our studio. We find our guest pets prefer to use their own bed etc but if you need any thing specific, please don’t hesitate to ask. For all their safety, we ask that you keep gates closed. We have a second bedroom and bedroom available in the main part of the house should you need additional accommodation. These are available and managed in line with the U.K. government’s CV19 stay safe policy. We are happy to help guests with whatever they need, and advise them on the many things you can do in and around Sheffield and the Peak District. Just ask! Otherwise we leave guest to enjoy their own privacy. We live in a lovely semi-rural suburb located on the edge of the city right next to the Peak District, but just 10 mins drive from the Universities and Hospitals, and 15 mins from the city centre (20-25 mins by bus) This makes us well placed for town and country. Our home is situated on the top of one of Sheffield’s seven hills, which gives us the most wonderful views across the valleys. There are some wonderful walks directly from the property. There is plenty of unrestricted parking outside the front of our home. Taxis and Ubers reach us very quickly and the bus stop is 5 mins away both into town and the local countryside. There are cushions available for the garden furniture outside your room, please ask if you’d like to use them. Please bring indoors at night, or if it is likely to rain. We are not doing cooked breakfasts at the moment but we do provide a daily breakfast basket if you wish to use this service. Patisserie Basket - £5 per person per day Full Continent Basket - £10 per person per day Each comes with fresh fruit and fruit juice will be added to your fridge. Milk, tea and coffee are complimentary. We have two very friendly cats who live at, and roam around the property. Family amenities available on request. A Laundry service is also available for a reasonable charge, if booked in advance with the hosts.
