Just 15 minutes drive to supermarkets and shopping centres of Westgate and Albany, with delicious Asian and Western food. This home has a fresh and clean feel, backed by native bush filled with birds. A heat pump with air conditioner quickly heats the home up in Winter, or cools it down in Summer. The kitchen enables you to do some home cooking while the afternoon sun pours in. There is free Wi-Fi. In the evenings, sit on the deck with a drink, or take a walk to the waterfront. Everything in this home and the environment is about relaxation and tranquility. You have private access to the entire guesthouse, which is separate from the main house where the owner resides. It has a modern kitchen fitted with high quality equipment including gas hobs, electric oven, microwave, and dishwasher; a bathroom with underfloor heating, a main bedroom with queen bed, and a second bedroom with single bed and a pull-out single bed underneath it. The Village has a grocery shop, a pharmacy, a bakery, a pub and restaurant, a cafe and other amenities. Greenhithe Wharf offers boating, fishing and water sports, and there is lots of space to walk and play in Wainoni Park. The motorway, only 5 minutes drive away, leads to Waitakere, Westgate Shopping Centre and the wild beaches of West Auckland, and to State Highway 1, Albany's shopping centres, and Auckland City. There is a bus going through Greenhithe, connecting Albany, the North Shore, and Henderson. A pleasant walk to the Village is 10 minutes and nearby Greenhithe Primary School is only 20 minutes. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet, even for kids. For travelling further, it is recommended to have a car or it is very easy to order an Uber which will just about take you anywhere. There is a bush behind the house with lots of native birds. Although the bush is generally safe, it does not have boundaries and has steep slippery slopes, so please don't allow children to play in it. There is parking space for only one guest car at the end of the driveway, and care needs to be exercised while manoeuvring.
