Our house is located within the "Villa Falco" complex, an XIX century aristocratic building. This is a very well-known area, which saw the flourishing of a number of "Vesuvian villas", during the XVIII century. The house used to belong to the watchman, "il guardiano" of the Villa; The watchmen was in charge of preserving the quiet of the beautiful palace and the one who took care of the lush garden and ancient trees, which you can still admire nowdays. The accommodation is surrounded by a gorgeous private garden, accessible just to the residents of the building. Hereby you can find a bowls ground, 2 glass greenhouses and the ruins of the old theatre belonging to the "Falco" family. At the back of the complex you will find a huge garden and fruit trees, which are carefully taken care by the residents of the building. You'll be impressed by the beauty of the location and how well preserved the complex is. A dive in the past and an oasis close to the most iconic archeologicl sites and wonderful coast. PLEASE NOTE: THE PRICE SHOWN IS FOR THE WHOLE PROPERTY, HOWEVER FOR 2 GUESTS USING SEPARATE ROOMS DURING THEIR STAY THERE'S AN EXTRA COST OF 10 EUROS A DAY. Guests have the opportunity to fully enjoy the outdoor space, including a BBQ, table and chairs. You can admire a glimpse of the Sorrento peninsula on one side and the majestic Vesuvius on the other and spend your evening in a quiet a peaceful surrounding. I'm always available to interact with my guests, either on (Hidden by Airbnb) or in person and more than happy to give you tips to make your stay as smooth and pleasant as possible. The neighborhood is extremely quiet also because it is located on a road that on one side closes to car traffic and can only be continued on foot. 20 minutes walk from the Herculaneum ruins. A 10 minute walk from the Herculaneum Circumvesuviana station to reach Pompei, Sorrento, Naples and the surrounding area. At 100m a pizzeria, at 200m the center of Ercolano begins with all kinds of shops and supermarkets. A few steps away the ancient market of Pugliano, famous market of the region of second-hand clothes. At 300m a very good sandwich shop, the coral museum, the bus stop to go up to Vesuvius, and much, much more! In short, an oasis within walking distance of everything Outside it is always possible to find a free parking, being a street closed to the traffic, but for those wishing, there is the possibility to park in a closed place 150 meters from the home for just 5 euros per day.
