The Summerhouse,Countryside retreat with hot tub

The Summerhouse is a delightful detached lodge in the grounds of our cottage. Designed to allow total privacy with your own entrance,garden and patio area, hot tub and sun loungers. The Summerhouse has an open plan layout with a comfortable lounge,TV Netflix/ fitted kitchen with fridge,hob and microwave grill. There is a separate modern bathroom with a walk in shower. The bedroom has the option of a super king size bed or two single beds as required . There is off road parking in our car park. It was our dream when we moved to Shropshire to buy somewhere which would allow us to keep a few animals. We now have 5 sheep: 3 Valais Blacknose, a Ryland and a Jacob ewe, 3 Alpacas, 2 dozen hens and 10 beehives !. We hope you will get as much enjoyment as we do from seeing them grazing freely in the adjacent field. We provide a complimentary starter pack of tea, coffee, milk,croissants,bread, jams and our freshly laid eggs ! Should you fancy a treat of a cooked breakfast from our menu of local sourced produce my husband Simon( a retired Chef) will specially prepare this and bring it to the Summerhouse at a time that suits you for an additional cost. Please note the bedroom will be made up as a Superking, please inform us at the time of booking if you would prefer the 2 single beds option. To re-assure guests when lockdown has ended: The Summerhouse really is the perfect place to isolate and relax , it is totally self contained with no neighbours in vie (Website hidden by Airbnb) normally look forward to meeting my guests on arrival but in line with government guidelines for social distancing I shall be asking all guests to self check-in using the key safe (all instructions for use will be given) * I will provide a manual for guests which will outline all facilities and instructions for appliances. There will also be information on places to visit, local supermarkets, restaurants and takeaways * The cooked breakfast at an additional cost of £6.99 will still be available but the breakfast tray will be left outside the property at the time requested. * We will of course be happy to answer any questions and queries you may have during your stay and will be contactable by mobile at all times We are situated down a idyllic quiet tree lined country lane opposite a 14th century Anglican church. A short walk down the lane leads you to Chelmarsh Nature Reserve and Reservoir. We benefit from an elevated position which offers panoramic views across the Severn Valley. A short walk away lies The Bulls Head public house offering real cask ales, good reasonably priced food and weekend live entertainment. The Summerhouse is only 3 miles from the delightful town of Bridgnorth. We are in an excellent area for walking,cycling,riding and Angling. The Summerhouse is on the Jack Mytton Way and The Mercian Way cycle route 45 . A short drive will take you to the heart of the Wyre Forest, the Severn Valley Railway, Iron bridge,The Black Country Museum and West Midlands Safari park. Church Stretton, Much Wenloch and Ludlow are also popular options for a day out. Extra measures I will be taking in light of the COVID-19 pandemic: The safety and well being of my guests is always my top priority but this is more important to me now than ever. * I normally look forward to meeting my guests on arrival but in line with government guidelines for social distancing I shall be asking all guests to self check-in using the key safe (all instructions for use will be given) * I want to re-assure guests that the Summerhouse will not only be thoroughly cleaned but it will be sprayed with a disinfectant (with 70% or greater alcohol content). I will be paying particular attention to all kitchen and bathroom surfaces,door handles,TV remotes,taps,light switches etc. The property with be thoroughly ventilated during cleaning with all doors and windows left open. * The CDC recommends that people wait 24 hours before entering a space occupied by a person who may have been exposed to the virus. In light of this initially I will be insisting on a 24 hour time gap between when a guest leaves and a new guest arrives. This will also allow me more time for the enhanced cleaning regime I have adopted.
