Make yourself at home in our home overlooking farmland and the Waikato River. Twin guestroom as well as an extra lounge space w King Single and Single. If you would like to book both rooms please just make your booking for 3 people. Extras: washing and drying, breakfast, hot meals, packed lunch and bubble bath available on request. Settled pets are welcome outside. 1930s bungalow overlooking farmland and the Waikato River. Bright, open spaces with a large garden and several outdoor areas. Gardens, patios, decks, kitchen, lounge, bathrooms, hallway, carport parking. Don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions before your arrival or during your stay. I am usually around but at times you may have the house to yourself. A home away from home. From our house you have 2.8 km to Waikato River and Mercer Service Centre where you will find Mobile Petrol station, McDonalds, Muddy Waters Irish Pub & Restaurant, Mercer Cheese Shop, Esquires Cafe, Pokeno Bacon Cafe, Fish & Chips Take Away and Mercer Museum (Maori Wars, Volcanic history, protected wetlands). 5km to Pokeno where you will find a good supermarket (Countdown), Restaurants, Cafes, Ice Cream Parlour, Butcher Shop, Bottle Shop and a Medical Centre. We are handy to both Hampton Downs and Meremere Drag Strip. Intercity busses stop at Pokeno 5km away. All other local travel requires own transport. We don't have TV or Wi-fi but can offer conversation, a great view and a lovely garden.
