Near Fair : Room+ in FRA-West (60486)

I offer you a modern room with private bathroom in a penthouse apartment on a 7th floor in Frankfurt-Bockenheim. I am happy to share kitchen, living room etc. with you. Help yourself breakfast is included in the rate. A tram/bus stop is 200m from the apartment. A ride to the fair grounds takes only 5-10 min; the banking district is reached in about 15 min. An alternative to public transport: A bike rental station is located just outside the apartment complex. I am renting a ~12 sqm room in a stylish apartment in Frankfurt-Rebstock. The "Rebstock" is a residential area west of the fair grounds. The room offers - Lignet-Roset sofa bed (160 cm wide) - High-speed WiFi (around 40-50, but up to 120 MBit/sec) - Flat screen TV (37 inches) with cable TV - Denon Hifi system - Desk with txpical office equipment including a free to use WiFi-printer ... and a nice view over trees towards the skyline of Frankfurt. You will have your own, private bathroom with shower-bathtub. Towels will be provided, of course. You are invited to use my washing machine and/or tumbler free of charge. Living room, dining area, terrace, kitchen is shared. Continental breakfast is available with coffee, tea, cereals, etc. on a self service basis. "Rebstockviertel" is part of Frankfurt-Bockenheim - just west of Frankfurt fair. The area was designed by New York´s architect Peter Eisenman. It is conveniently located near autobahn/motorway A648; free street parking is usually never a real problem in case you come here by your own car. Few details regarding the fair: - The western entrance ('Portalhaus') is 1.2 km away. - The "Galleria" entrance is 1.8 km away (5 minutes by bus) - The main entrance is 2.5 km away (10 minutes by tram or bus) You into swimming/spa/sauna or other sports? - Just five minutes walking from my house there is the popular "Rebstockbad", Frankfurt´s biggest indoor pool with all sorts of amenities like artifical waves, slides, saunas, etc. Nearby Rebstock Park is ideal for jogging. Shopping of interest? Frankfurt is well known for excellent shopping facilities such as the "Zeil" or Skyline Plaza - a fairly new shopping mall very close to the main entrance of the fair. You find a nice foodcourt there and a terrace garden with a nice view. Public transport: The stop "Rebstockbad" is 200 metres away from my place. Tram no. 17 and buses 34 & 50 operate from there at short intervals. Driving times: The central ~15 min., the main entrance of the fair ~5-10 minutes. Night bus N1 operates every night. I usually rent out the room for up to 2 weeks. If you require more time, please enquire whether it is possible. Frankfurt is a bicycle friendly city. Just in front of the house you find a station of "CALL A BIKE" by the Deutsche Bahn (DB = German Railway Services). Borrow a bike and explore the city ...
