The Coach House is a quaint, detached traditional barn conversion bursting with character. It's situated in the quiet village of Mathry (with its panoramic views), and is a 5 minute drive from Pembrokeshire’s north coast and beaches. It's perfectly situated for many of Pembrokeshire's treasures, whether its the vast stretches of coastal walks, the working harbours of Porthgain and Abercastle (with its neolithic burial chamber), the spectacular Blue Lagoon or Britain's smallest city, St Davids. The comfortable cottage has a spacious beamed open plan lounge and dining area with a large arched window and far reaching views in the distance. There is a log burning stove to add to the cosiness on a cold evening and perfect welcome after a busy day exploring the local area. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a washer/dryer and microwave, along with all main appliances. The cottage has numerous features that add to its character and charm, such as beamed ceilings and feature windows. The owners live nearby and are on hand to provide any help or advice and are also quick to reply to any emails or messages. The north Pembrokeshire coast is an ideal location for the perfect getaway; an untouched and historic part of Wales. Mathry is a lovely community with a local pub and tea room, which are both in walking distance, and a farm shop. Melin Tregwynt, which makes beautiful woolen blankets, cushions, clothes etc is nearby and also has a wonderful cafe. From the cottage, there are various footpaths that take you to the nearby coastal path and beaches of Abermawr, Aberbach and Abercastle. Great for walking with or without a dog! Fishguard and St Davids (with its 13th Century cathedral) are approximately a 10 minute drive in opposite directions and both have supermarkets and shops. The town of Haverfordwest is a 25 minute drive and has a number of large supermarkets. There is a Spar shop in the local petrol station 2 miles away, which has all main grocery items. For access around the county, there is a coastal cruiser bus that goes to popular tourist spots and beaches.
