Holiday home, kids and pets welcome, wifi
If you fancy a relaxing stay in a small mountain village, you've just found it ! Our chalet is in the heart of the major Pyrenean sites (Lourdes, Gavarnie, Pic du Midi, etc.) is backed by the Réserve Régionale Naturelle where you are welcome to roam in at will. The kitchen is well equipped, living room and bedrooms are tastefully decorated: the ideal place to return to after a day in the open air. On a sunny day you'll love the garden with deckchairs and BBQ. Once a tumbledown ruin, it has now been rebuilt and completely refurbished and transformed into a characterful and comfortable holiday home for up to 6 people. It has become a popular destination for anyone seeking peace and relaxation. Ideal for couples or families, we provide a toddler's cot and chair. Not suitable for persons with disabilities as the bathroom is upstairs, sorry ! Airport Lourdes-Tarbes-Pyrénées (RyanAir and AirFrance) at 20 kms, TGV train station at Lourdes (7kms). You will need a car (rentals available). Streets are narrow in our moutain villages and parking uneasy, but you will be allowed to unload your luggage right by the gate and then park by the church at a stone throw. We will be delighted to help you with a few tips to make the most of your stay in the Pyrenees. Our village hardly accomodates 100 people ! Halfway between Lourdes and Argeles-Gazost, you'll find it an ideal location for touring our majors places of interest. A number of leaflets and maps are available for you to pick the right destination. No more shops in the village, but you will love the market at Argelès (Tuesday mornings). Supermarkets within easy distance (6-10kms). Our local farm sells a delicious goat milk cheese. Sorry, no public transport. Cars can easily be parked on the village square by the church, as our yard does not really offer an easy parking slot ! We live nextdoor, feel free to pop in any time !
