Mere Fold Cottage

Merefold is a stunning cottage style larger than average bungalow, which has been refurbished to a high standard.The house comprises of a large entrance hall with toilet/sink, following into a inner large hallway where each of the three double bedrooms lead off, plus the main bathroom. There is a huge lounge with a conservatory off, which faces the large private woodland garden. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials you may need. We also have a utility room with washer & dryer. Guests have the use of the whole property at Mere Fold Cottage, there is a huge garden (fully enclosed & private) with a children’s play area to one side. Mere Fold also has a patio area with table and chairs including a charcoal BBQ and Pizza oven. We do not allow large parties or events in the house or garden. No under 25 year olds in a group. You may be asked for ID in a form of a driving licence or pass port. Guests have the use of the whole property at Mere Fold, including the huge garden, patio area and children’s play area. I am available if guests need me for any reason or issues and if guests prefer to be left alone to enjoy their stay they can. All I ask is that guests respect my house and read the rule booklet which is at hand in the house. Any guests that break the house rules will be asked to leave immediately. If excessive mess or rubbish is left in the house, guests may forfeit their deposit. Video link (Website hidden by Airbnb) A car is the best way to get around the area but I can also recommend walking, as you can walk into Tatton Park within 5 minutes. Also, I have two adults bicycles that guests can use. Absolute limit is 6 guests. If anyone brings any additional guests without prior permission, guests will be asked to leave and any payments will be retained. No toilet wipes, nappies, Sanitary Towels etc to be flushed down the toilets, as the drainage system at the cottage can flush them out, so blockages will occur if any of these items are flushed down. Basically, only toilet roll can be flushed down the toilet. Any guests that block the toilets up by using these prohibited items, may well be charged an additional fee to call out a professional.
