A modern, bright and clean apartment that has been recently refurbished with beautiful views of the sea. It is ideally located, a short walk from the town centre of Kos, the port and various beaches. The apartment is ideal for families as well as groups of friends but also for couples that are looking for greater comfort or more generous spacing. The apartment is ideally located in the town of Kos overlooking the Aegean sea. The apartment and the respective building are very modern. The apartment itself is very clean, bright and only just refurbished. The main advantage of this property is that it is modern and ideally located in the sense that it is near the centre of the town of Kos (all the night-life, shops, etc) and near most of the prominent cultural sites of the island such as the 'Asclepeion', the Ancient Gymnasium and the Agora (market). The apartment has internet access, towels, kitchen utilities, plates, air-conditioning, radio, hair-dryer, washing machine etc. Guests are able to access all parts of the apartment. Available via phone/message at all times. The neighborhood is very lively during the summer season (from April to October) and has a really nice vibe. It is right by the sea on a street, which is ideal for strolling around or cycling and enjoying everything the island has to offer. There are various shops, restaurants, coffee shops etc nearby. If you need any additional suggestions we are always here to assist you! - You can rent a bicycle and explore the many nearby attractions and beaches. - 10 minute walk from the old town of Kos and centre of Kos. - 10 minute walk from the port of Kos - Across the sea from the apartment’s balcony you can see the Turkish riviera and cosmopolitan destination of Bodrum. It is only a 40 minute boat trip from the port. - Kos is considered a historical and cultural location as it has many attractions from the Byzantine and Classical Periods. - Some beaches we recommend are: ‘Agios Fokas’ Beach, ’Tigaki’ Beach, ‘Kefalos’ Beach. Its central locational also means that it has great transportation links to any part of the island if you wish to visit different beaches, places etc. It is also a short walk away from the port of Kos and the Kos harbour, which is considered the tourist and cultural centre and from where you can travel by boat to nearby islands and Turkey (Bodrum Market) for the day. It has great transportation links as it is short walk from the centre, harbour, main port and marina. The apartment is about 30-40 minutes drive from the airport and the taxi costs about 40 EUR. Otherwise you can take the public bus or rent a car which a good idea if you want to explore the whole island. Parking is available right outside the apartment on the street (free).
