Nice studio near the center of Nijmegen

Nicely decorated ground floor studio in one of the most beautiful and centrally located places of Nijmegen-East. You walk to the city center in 10 minutes. In the immediate vicinity you will find several nice restaurants. The fascinating hilly landscape in which Berg and Dal and Groesbeek are hidden, are easy to reach by foot or by bike as well as the sandy beaches of the river Waal where you can swim. The studio is accessible for disabled people with a wheelchair. The studio covers a total area of ± 80 m2 with a shielded outdoor area. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary equipment such as a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, oven, induction hob, coffee maker, milk foamer and all necessary kitchenware is also provided. From the central room you have access to the toilet, bathroom and separate area with a washer and dryer. The double bed measures 140 x 200 and has a comfortable mattress (March 2021 renewed) plus top deck. There is an extra bed / folding bed with a comfortable mattress of 90 x 200 for 1 person. Extra beds can be added for an additional fee. There is no separate bedroom in the studio. All rooms are accessible to guests. During your stay, I can be reached by telephone. I live at a short distance (1 min walk) from the studio. The studio is located in Nijmegen-East, the most popular residential area of Nijmegen. There are lots of nice and good restaurants, shops and cafes within easy walking distance. Within a 10 minutes walk you are in the center and in 2 minutes you have the most beautiful view from the Nijmegen stuwwal (this is a hill which originates in the ice age) across the Ooijpolder. Radboud University and HAN are located at 10-15 minutes (by bike or bus) from the studio. Opposite the studio there is a small, nice, free accessible playground. The studio is located in a paid parking area: from Monday to Saturday from 9:00-18:00 (on Thursdays to 21:00) and on shopping Sundays and public holidays from 12:00-18:00 the costs are € 1.80 per hour. You can park your car free of charge within ± 10 minutes walking distance. If desired I can take over the parking costs for €10 per full day. However, the parking costs on the day of arrival and the day of departure are for my account. Nijmegen is well accessible by train and by car. If you come by car best to enter Nijmegen via the north, via the old Waalbrug. From the trainstation it is a 20-minute walk. Take bus line 2 (Maartenskliniek) leaving the trainstation and get off at the stop "Hugo de Grootstraat" and walk for another minute. The studio has a TV with 40+ channels including English (language) TV channels. It is also possible to activate the NETFLIX app on the TV with your own login credentials.
