Peaceful Country Retreat in Nozov

Discover the beauty outside of Prague! Escape to the beautiful Czech countryside with this tranquil getaway. 2nd floor suite in country cottage just 25 km from Prague’s airport. Easiest if you have your own car. Parking in garden or street. Great base for biking, hiking and a visit to Křivoklát or Karlštejn Castle. Large garden, outdoor seating in pergola, firepit. Small children’s pool (1.2 meters deep) to cool off. Horse riding available with advance notice! Lovely hardwood floors, clean and welcoming! The apartment features a bedroom with double bed, a smaller room with sofa bed, living room, bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, and a basic kitchenette for preparing simple snacks or meals. (Microwave, cooktop, small fridge, utensils, dishes, pans, coffee, tea and basic spices.) All towels and linens included. The ground floor (1st) is occupied by my parents, and is unavailable to guests. The entire 2nd floor is for your use. You may sometimes share the garden with the home’s occupants. Since I work in Prague, I will be available mainly through phone calls, texts, (Hidden by Airbnb) and emails. If a situation arises, I can drive from Prague quickly. However, I will have someone available to meet you at check-in and check-out. This is the perfect place for an active ( or restful) outdoor vacation! You are close to hiking trails, biking, Křivoklát (42 km) or Karlštejn (29 km) Castle, even a small zoopark Statek u Merlina (6 km away). You can explore the rebuilt Lidice, 14 km away. This historic place is a village that Hitler completely destroyed, killing hundreds, in retaliation for a German officer’s assassination. The famous spa town of Karlovy Vary is also about 100 km away. And, of course, you still have easy access to Prague. Sports airport in Velká Dobrá is 7 km away. In numerous riding halls around Nouzov (within 5-6 km) you can borrow their animals there. Ideal locality for hiking trails passable even for a mountain bike. Compared to other sites are here in „Křivoklátsko“ (in future nature reserve) you can move around on the bike for hiking and biking tens of kilometers without endangering road traffic. Complete amenities (doctor, shopping center, post office, school, bank, pharmacy, gas station, sports hall, cinema etc.) is available in the 4.5 km distant village Unhost with (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) inhabitants. In Nouzov there is a restaurant, a large garden and tennis courts. In neighboring villages within a distance of 3 km there are more restaurants, shops, golf course and swimming pool. There is also sports airport about 7 km away from the Nouzov. It’s best if you have a car, and we have free parking in our garden or on the street. There are buses from Prague to the nearby town of Unhošť several times per day. Then you would need a taxi or Uber for the remaining distance (about 4 km).
