Discover this bright and modern flat with up to two bedrooms and its combined living and dining room and a completely equipped kitchen. The flat is located in a nice, green quarter. With public transport you reach the central train station in 10 min, Euroairport in 30 min, the city in less than 10 min and Messeplatz in less than 15 min. The tram and bus station are just a few meters away. Shopping for daily needs and restaurants are nearby. The flat is ideal for couples and business travelers. The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a high quality, fully renovated building from the 1930s. As a frequent traveler, this flat provides us an alternative to a hotel. Instead of a cramped hotel room we feel like in a suite, very comfortable and like at home. And if we are not there we want to shares this feeling with other travelers. The apartment is available exclusively to our guests. When booking for 2 persons you will stay in large of the two bedrooms, the small remains closed. If you need both rooms each for one guest please let us know. Everything you’ll find in the apartment can be used. The kitchen is fully equipped with - Dishwasher - Fridge - Freezer - Hot-air oven - Microwave - Ceramic hob - Nespresso coffee machine In the bathroom you will find the washing tower with washing machine and dryer. Important: After using the dryer the water tank and the filter must be emptied resp. cleaned. We offer free high-speed Internet and cable TV with many foreign channels and free phone calls to all Swiss fixed and mobile networks. The apartment is available to our guests' exclusive use, therefore we are not on site. But we are available at any time for questions and information via e-mail, messaging or phone. If necessary, someone can be available on site quickly. The apartment is located at the foot of the „Bruderholz“, a preferred residential area in Basel. The environment is very green and quiet despite of its central location. Nearby you will find the following recreation areas: - The Margarethenpark - The „Park im Grünen“ - The „Sonnenbad“ - St. Jakob with sports and swimming facilities - The Basel Zoo Public transport is right outside the door. Here are examples of the most common destinations: Bahnhof SBB: Max. 5 minutes by tram no. 16, which stops right outside the building Basel City short walk and then 5 minutes by tram no. 15, 10 or 11 Basel Messeplatz short walk and then 9 minutes by tram no. 15 Euro Airport either by bus no. 36, then no. 50 or by tram 16, then no. 50 in each case less than 30 minutes By taxi, depending on the day time between 15 and 20 minutes Basel Zoo (entrance Dorenbach) short walk and then 4 minutes by bus no. 36 Parking For 20 francs per day you can park near the apartment. We can also organize cheap parking tickets in a nearby public parking. More details will be emailed if you are interested. IMPORTANT: Currently, the Gundeldingerstrasse is being redesigned. They also exchange all tubes along the road which you will see as the pavement is open for those works in process. It has only an impact on car access. Upon request, you obtain an access permit. The tram connection is not affected. Access to house is granted. You can ask us for more details. By paying the tourism tax you get the BaselCard from us. This allows you to use public transport in the area for free. An overview with even more discounts will be sent to you after booking. If you require any additional information we are happy in order to make your stay perfect! For longer stays we can agree individually on regular cleaning and bed linen and bath towels exchange. IMPORTANT: Currently, the Gundeldingerstrasse is being redesigned. This has an impact on tram number 16 and leads at times to a cancellation of the stop "Zwinglihaus". You must then go to the next stop "Heiliggeistkirche" (+3 minutes walk). You will get more details about this by email and / or you can directly ask us.
