Lovely cottage in paradise of nature

At our quinta you are very welcome to stay in our carefully decorated cottage with a romantic sitting room with open fire and a sofa bed, a lovely fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable bedroom and a spotless bathroom with wood burning hot water system for the shower. At the dining table on your private terrace you can enjoy your meal. Our lovely cottage offers you stunning views on the surrounding hillsides. The cottage is renovated with eye for detail and has lots of unique characteristics. The house is suitable for two or three adults or for a family with two smaller children. The owners built most of it themselves and used lovely colours and beautiful authentic furniture. The kitchen has all you need to cook a nice meal: gas stove, small electric oven, hot water boiler, pots, pans, glasses, cutlery, table and benches. The living room is cosy and romantic with a sofa bed and open fire. In the bedroom with comfortable double bed you will find lots of closets for your belongings, one of them made by hand from old wine barrels. Highlight of the house is the wood burning hot water system for the shower, which is very easy to use and all of our guests so far loved it! The cottage is all private and has a private entrance. We will be around for help if needed, we can give some tips about excursions and hikes. You are very welcome in our bar and small restaurant on the site. We are well known for our excellent food, you can discuss diets or food wishes, like vegetarian, vegan, allergies. We try to live as sustainable as possible. Therefore we grow a lot of our own food and do we have a little shop with home made food products and toiletries. Our cottage is situated in a isolated valley, but only 10 minutes by car from a town where you will find everything you need. We are amidst nature in a valley with hills around us, a small creek is streaming on the bottom of the terrain and there is a lovely little waterfall close by to dip in. If you want to come by public transport, you can come by bus ( (Website hidden by Airbnb) and we will pick you up from the busstation! Please ask details when needed. The area is great for hiking and enjoying peace, quiet and nature. Also food lovers will be able to fully enjoy this place! The beautiful cities Leiria and Coimbra are at approx. one hour distance. There is hardly any network for mobile phones and no wifi available for guests, so the ultimate digital detox for total relaxation and fully re-charge your personal batteries.
