Bright & Spacious Annex with Private Access
Welcome to 69a North Street, our grade ll listed town house in the centre of Ashburton. Through our front door and along a passageway you come to 69b, an annex with its own private entrance sharing our beautiful cobbled courtyard. Through a stable door and up a flight of stairs is a large light filled room that has a super king bed or two generous singles, a sofa and a table and chairs. Downstairs is a shower room as well as a separate utility space with tea and coffee facilities. Just a 2 minute walk from the centre of Ashburton, 69b is tucked away from the street and is surprisingly secluded. You are welcome to enjoy the small courtyard with its rambling grape vine and table and chairs. Our garden tends to be used by our two young boys, if its quiet (or you don’t mind their games) you’re welcome to use it. A light breakfast is provided for you to serve yourself in the room. The Victoria Inn is 4 doors away and serves pub lunch and evening meals at the weekend and we are just a few minutes walk from many other great places to eat and drink. We do not have private parking, but there is plenty of on-street parking outside and a long stay car park in the center of the town. In the annex you have a private bathroom, the bedroom with sofa, table and chairs and an extra desk space. You are welcome to use the washing machine, we may need to also use the utility space during your stay but will always try to do this at a time that wont inconvenience you. You are welcome to share the outdoor space; our courtyard and garden Unfortunately we have a busy house and cannot offer use of our kitchen which is within the main building. We will be here to greet you answer any questions throughout your stay.
