Self contained private studio No cleaning fee

A private modern studio which is situated on our property in Charteris Bay over looking Hayes bay and Lyttelton harbour. Fabulous views of Quail island and the port hills. The perfect spot to soak up the scenery and relax Enjoy the local coastal walking tracks and cafes or use as a base to explore the wider area of Banks peninsula. 1hr to Akaroa or 40 mins to Little River. It is an eight minute drive to Diamond harbour where you can catch the ferry to Lyttelton. 1 room studio with full bathroom. There is a king sized bed and a three seater sofa bed which is suitable for either 1 adult or child to sleep on. ( please note there is only a medium sized hot water cylinder ,so when there is a 3rd person the hot water may run out and you will need to wait for it to reheat)There is a seating area with 2 chairs and a coffee table. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge freezer, oven, microwave, toaster, jug and cooking utensils and a dinning table and four chairs. There is a B.B.Q and outdoor table and chairs on the patio. There is also a second outdoor seating area with a large umbrella and fabulous views. The guests will have access to the studio which is seperate from our house and have full access to our garden. We both work full time but will meet and greet when ever possible. We will always be available in person or by phone to answer any queries the quests may have. Great for walking, relaxing, water sports and biking.Akaroa, Little River, Quail Island, Lyttelton and Orton Bradley park are all nearby and are fabulous destinations. There is no public transport in Charteris Bay. It is an eight minute drive to Diamond harbour where you can catch a 10 min ferry ride to Lyttelton and then catch a bus to Christchurch City Christchurch is a 35min drive away. Come up the drive next to the bank of letter boxes, drive up steep part then keep left and turn into first driveway on your right. 310 is on the garage wall. There is a petrol station and a well equipped dairy in church bay
