Charming Old Farmers House at the Lake of Zürich

This is our charming and very old original farmer's house in Meilen. Just across the street from the lake of Zurich. During your stay, you will sleep on the comfortable bed-sofa in our living room. You will have the room all by yourself, it also has a key. Theres a second little room, to which you have private acces - which we call the card game room. Its a good place for working in peace. You will live in the house togheter whith us, a very humourous and life-loving women couple. We will share the kitchen and the big bathroom during your stay. You are welcome to use all of the kitchen and bathroom utilities, your are welcoem to cook, if you like and simply feel at home. Attention: Your room is only 1.85 meters high, because it's a historical house. So... you shoud either not be very tall or you have to stoop a bit... :) We have two cats, Fanny and Velvette to welcome you too. If it happens and we stay a away during your stay, you might be asked to feed them. So you should be a cat-loving person, if you book the room at ours. Theres a beautiful garden around the house, which of course you can use to relaxe, have a drink or thake a sun bath. If you like you cand use our two bikes fou a small tour through Meilen. The lake is really just a cross the street, so you can reach in by foot in only one minute an take a bath there in summer. Meilen also offers possibilities to take the ship to the other shore or even to Zurich Town center. There are also restaurants, a nice coffe shop and grocerie-stores directly at the train station of Meilen. Normally, we are at home when you book, but during the day mostly working in town. If we plan to be on holidays during your stay, we will first speak to you - also because of the cat sitting. :) You will have the lake of Zurich directly across the street and when you walk up the other side, you are in the middle of pure nature! You will see the mountains, lots of farmhouses and the beautifil grapevines. By bus and train, you can reach The center of Zurich (Stadelhofen) in 25 minutes and the Zurich Railway Station in 30minutes. The trains from Meilen to Zurich run every 15 Minutes. From our house, it will take you 22 Min to walk or 10 minutes by bus to reach the train station of Meilen. Meilen also offers possibilities to take the ship to the other shore or even to Zurich Town center. There are also restaurants, a nice coffe shop and grocerie-stores directly at the train station of Meilen.
