Charming Old Stone Cottage with 2 large Terraces

Villa Olsavinia is a charming old stone cottage set in the heart of Kastela Luksic. A guest staying at the cottage will enjoy the charm of the old town with complete privacy within the walled yard and terraces of the house. Entrance to the house is through a gate from a pedestrian alleyway into the ground floor courtyard. Up a flight of stairs is the smaller of the 2 terraces where you can enjoy relaxing meals at the shaded dining table. Entrance to the house is from this terrace into the hallway. Off the hallway is a small but comfortable living room which leads onto the large terrace where you can enjoy meals and relax on the sofas. There is a BBQ grill on this terrace. Up the stairs is a large attic with a dining table and sofa seating and a TV. There are different sleeping options to suit different groups. There is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with 2 single beds and a baby cot. In the attic is a single bed and the sofa in the attic is a sofa-bed. The house has 1 shower room so maximum sleeping in the house is 6 persons. Villa Olsavinia is only 150m away from the first local beach, many caffe bars, pastery shopes, Gelato bars, local grocery stores, fruit and vegetable markets and restaurants. Getting to Kastel Luksic - the village is equally distant from Split and Trogir so if you are coming by car then you can come off the motorway at either of these junctions and drive along the main Split - Trogir road where the village is clearly signposted. If you are coming by plane then you can drive along the local Kastela road that the airport is located on. Or take a taxi from the airport. Split airport is 6.5 km away. Parking is in the streets around, it is not possible to park on the cobbled high street as this is pedestrian only. Kaštel Lukšić is one of the seven Kaštela between Trogir and Split. In Kaštel Lukšić you can see many cultural monuments such as the church of St. John Birnj, the Vitturi castle which holds the city museum, the Our Lady of the Assumption church, the Vitturi park, Kaštel Tataglia and others. The beaches of the Kaštela region combine into a 6km long string of bays and bathing areas which are shaded by pine trees and tamaris. Every year from July 1st to august 31st, the “Kaštela Cultural Summer” festivities are held which consists of 60 different events: theatre plays, photography exhibits, popular and classical music concerts, folklore, sports competitions and various fishing and hunting festivities. Culinary enthusiasts can enjoy the specialties of this are in the restaurants “Mala More” and B Cool beach bar/bistro”. Those in search of a peaceful vacation will enjoy Kaštel Lukšić. You will feel completely looked after. And in a case you need anything else DPM personnel will be happy to help. Other Things to note Please note you will need to pay in cash on arrival cca 1 Euro per person per day tourist tax. Late arrival and Sunday check in fees apply. You will also need to leave a 20 Euro cash deposit on arrival for the key. You will get this back when you return the key on departure.
