A two-bedroom flat above a village pub and bunkhouse. We’re in the heart of Bethesda, nestled in the dramatic Carneddau mountains, near the picturesque Ogwen river. **All bookings must comply with Welsh Government guidelines which currently state that only guests from the same household or bubble can stay together. Listings will be amended inline with changing regulations so please note your booking is subject to cancellation within one week of the visit if it is outside the guidelines.** PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PUB AND NEUADD OGWEN ARE BOTH CLOSED, DUE TO COVID-19. THE FLAT REMAINS AVAILABLE AS USUAL. This listing is for a self-contained flat, made up of two double bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and spacious living/dining room. The sofa in the living room opens up into a double bed, meaning that the flat sleeps four people. The ground floor of the property is the Fic (or Victoria Hotel), a lively village pub. On the first floor you'll find the Victoria Bunkhouse which is currently being let as a single unit due to Covid-19 regulations, which sleeps eighteen people in four different rooms. This flat is on the second floor, and is totally private; while you enter through a shared stairwell with the bunkhouse, you'll be the only ones with access to the flat itself. An ideal space for groups who are looking for somewhere to stay after visiting ZipWorld Bethesda, hiking or climbing in Snowdonia, or after a gig at Neuadd Ogwen. The flat includes a fully fitted, well-equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and secure, free bicycle storage (on the ground floor). The living room has a brand new smart TV as well as a bluetooth-enabled stereo system. We also have free wifi, convenient pay & display parking nearby, and can arrange taxis for travel further afield. The bunkhouse, the pub and Neuadd Ogwen are all owned by Tabernacl (Bethesda) Cyf, a local non-profit co-operative. The money we make from the bunkhouse and the pub help to sustain and develop the community arts centre. All staff are Welsh-speakers Guests access the flat through a shared entrance and stairwell with the bunkhouse below, however only the guests in the flat will have access to the flat or it's amenities. Most of our staff live within the village and are available should guests require assistance. Located on Bethesda High Street, the bunkhouse is at the heart of the village. Within short walking distance of local shops and cafes, as well as ZipWorld itself. You can hike directly from the flat up to the Carneddau. The number 67 bus from Bangor passes by the front door, at least four times an hour. There is pay-and-display parking within a few minutes walk, for those driving to Bethesda. We can arrange for a minibus to pick up those coming by train, at an additional cost. The minibus is also available (by pre-arrangement) to transport walkers and climbers to any location in Snowdonia. Please note that the price quoted is for four guests. Each additional guest (up to a maximum of six people) will incur an additional £10 charge.
