ADDITIONAL NOTES - A lot of this home is in its original 70s state, there is a 42 inch TV, but the property is suited as a retreat not a luxury, modern stay. Due to the location (in a national state park), there is a lot of wildlife including spiders, occasional snakes (more so in warmer months). It is also very quiet so often there are noises from wildlife in the night that can be heard. - Due to the location of this property, we have a strict NO PARTY policy at this home if you intend to invite additional visitors other than the guest listed we require times and total cars in your booking request. - Please be sure to take everything with you when you leave. Any goods or things you leave behind after your stay are your responsibility. We will try our best to return them, but can’t guarantee that they will be. - We have very strict policies around fire safety. The property is located in an area with a bushfire overlay and there are very specific rules to protect our visitors, our neighbourhood and our environment. - There is a security camera installed facing the driveway and we make a record of all cars that enter the property and a max of five cars onsite. - This is a very quiet and sensitive neighbourhood, and our immediate neighbour's privacy and respect are paramount to us. The entire property except the bungalow/studio where the residents live If requested, guests are welcome to access the property via a key lockbox and are left on their own. However, Josh and Shannon (the property caregivers) are available when needed. The property has direct access to the river with the locals secret swimming hole within 200 metres from the back gate. There is 10 km of really well maintained walking/running trails that link directly out of the back gate. There is a bus route at the top of the road about a 20 minute walk. Casa Warrandyte is located nearly at the end of a gravel road. Fire Safety: Due to the location, Nillumbik council properties are at threat to bushfires. On Extreme fire rating day's we would recommend that the property be vacated.
