Room in a charming house with breakfast

Maison La Lanterne is located in the heart of the tiny peaceful village of Bassigney in the north of the Franche Comté. In harmony with nature, near the Lanterne river, this house is waiting for you to spend a memorable time here as a getaway from the city and running world. Decorated with care and love, this room has a breathtaking view from the balcony. Enjoy a rich and delicious breakfast with fresh and local food. The room is situated on the first floor, and has a 160x200 cm double bed, and it is the only room with balcony in the house. You will have a beautiful view on the nature and on the garden. The Lanterne river is just for a jump from the house(don’t try it from the balcony though), where you can go swimming (the brave ones jumping from the bridge -seriously) or just have a picnic next to it. You can also spend your time in the garden and enjoy the view. In the evenings, you can have a bbq with us or alone. You can also use the fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom is opposite to your room, and if there is no other guests, it is for your private use. We will inform you about it at the time of reservation. There is no television in the house, it is against our principles. :) Believe us, you will have plenty of better things to do! The wifi works best in the living room but there is signal in the room as well to do the necessary things on Internet. You can park your car in front of the house. You will have your own key so you can come and go when you want. Please respect the calmness of the house after 10 pm. We are of course available if you have any kind of questions or problems, and we will do our best to help you. Most of the time we will be working around the house, so we are available personally but also on the phone or by messages. You can park your car in front of the house, on the street, free of charge. -There are no shops, cafés or restaurants in this village. But good news is that you can find all these in the next village which is about 3 km away. We can provide bikes to you if the weather is nice but of course you can get around by car a bit faster. -Our lovely cat, Ramses, is living in the house with us. He is not used to going out alone, so please pay extra attention to not to leave the doors open.
