A four bedroom home with a BBQ patio and pool nestled close to the Blue Mountains National Park (a World Heritage area). From Blaxland you can plan to see the Blue Mountains and all of its beautiful attractions with ease. We will help you enjoy your stay with local knowledge and a great breakfast to start the day. Whether it’s peace and quiet or a yarn, we are easy going either way. Ross Crescent is a circuit which part of a ridge that cuts into the Blue Mountains National Park. We are very close to the wildlife and a lot of native birds frequent our birdbath too many to mention. It is quiet, very quiet and the tranquility of the Australian bush and its clean air will be notable. Apart from the Private Bedrooms, you have access to all the rooms in the house if you decide to stay at home during the day. We are easy going so if you are staying more than one night and you are touring the Blue Mountains, you can have a home day to break up your holiday. We have lived in the Blue Mountains for over 30 years and know a number of bucket list items and if you need some help, just ask and we will always do our best to help you enjoy your stay. Blaxland is a small mountain village with a friendly atmosphere. Blaxland is named after one of the explorers who discovered a path across the mountains. It has a shopping centre with small grocers, coffee shops, hotels, a number of restaurants and we even boast a chef hat restaurant - Como. The Blaxland Railway Station is about 1km from the house and an easy walk, however, if you call from a Mountains train when leaving Penrith, I can pick you up from the Station. If you are driving, drive up the driveway and pick an area on the lawn either left or right so as to not block the driveway. In the event of a bushfire, we are in bush fire zone and we may need to evacuate along with other residents. If you have a car it is best to self evacuate or leave as directed by emergency services.
