We do have wildlife in care so learn about them, volunteer to feed and enjoy their cards, poker for fun or star gaze with a wine or two. But we know if you want to sit and relax in peace that's great too. Travelling along the dirt road to my home, the sun peeps through the trees, the road has no traffic so the.wild residents are abundant. Kangaroos, wombats, bird life galore are to be seen. Stars at night are clear and the odd falling star is seen. Deer come and drink from the dam while the sound of kookaburras settling in for the night. Echidnas and the odd king parrot show up on your doorstep all the while sheep, goat and pony are wondering the paddock. Not far to see Phillip Island, Puffing Billy, the Dandenongs, Toomuc Valley attractions, and Gumbuya Park and is only one hour from Melbourne. Public transport to train station and we can arrange to pick you up from there. Being a wildlife Shelter, we ask that you are careful around the animals in care, no dogs are to see them up close. Every cent of the funds go to the Wildlife Shelter so thank you for your help to feed the animals in care.
