Feel the Danish vibe in our home! Relax and chill!

We have had so many happy guests and our place is ONLY available in summer! Don´t miss out! WIFI 300/300 Chromecast Relaxed atmosphere on the 5th floor in an old building. Central location in the eastern part of the city and lots of public transportation. Easy to find playgrounds nearby, supermarkets 4 minutes away, lots of take away food shops, cafes and best vegan restaurant in the city "Souls" just around the corner. Lets talk about your needs! Ask for special rate for long period. Our place is supposed to seem welcoming and easy to live in. We love it because it is so comfortable and so close to everything. We are near the water and definitely central location in our neighborhood. It is a quiet area with many families. It will fit families up to 4-5 people, write us if you have any doubts about the sleeping arrangements. The apartment has 3 adult size beds; two are high beds. One is 90x200 (the back bedroom) and one larger sized high bed, that will fit 1 or 2 children/petite persons (120x200). This bed is in the playroom which is a walk through room from corridor to back bedroom. And a double bed for parents in a separate room. We like to think we have really good matresses and that is also what some of our guests have commented on. We do think that our home is most suitable for families with 1 or 2 children or 3/4 adults. Let's just communicate about what you need and take it from there. We might also be able to get a foldable babybed and a high chair. You will have the whole apartment to yourselves, you may use everything in the kitchen and all the toys are free to play with. There are lots of games you may use. 1000s of Legos and drawing paper and crayons. We do not have any tv channels but a chromecast, so you can bring your own device to stream chosen programmes and series. We do have Netflix at your disposal. This is a full kitchen. We do have a dishwasher, Nespresso machine and French press to make coffee and a Quooker (ready to use boiling water). A sodastream is also available. If you need something just ask! Induction stove (which is VERY fast) and a convection oven. We do not have a microwave oven. I or my husband will allways try to be at the apartment and greet you if we are not on vacation. We will show you around and answer your questions as well as we are able to. We will not come by the apartment during your stay unless you ask us to. We will be only 25 minutes away if you need any assistance and we are only a text away if you have questions! We expect you to ask us anything so we can make your stay as comfortable as possible. We will come and say goodbye when you leave and during your stay I will check up with you if everything is as you expected. Please make sure to let us know right away if things are not as expected so we can change or fix it as soon as possible. It is important to us that your stay is positive and memorable. We love the nearby shopping street with grocery stores, take away food shops, bike shops (also rental bikes), bakeries, clothing stores and so on. We are close to the city beach and to the very big park, Faelledparken, where people hang out and where the children love the different playgrounds! Check out our photos! Must sees could be the Amalienborg Castle, Kastellet (an old fortress), the Opera House, the old city center, Nyhavn, the pedestrian street Strøget and the old amusement park Tivoli. They are so many things to do in Copenhagen that you do not need to get bored. We have many books you can enjoy and find inspiration from. One thing to check out is the Copenhagen Card. It gives you free transportation during the valid period of the card and you can see all the sights on their website. Public transportation is very good. Go everywhere with busses and the trains/metro. Children under the age of 12 are free when travelling with one adult in Copenhagen (one adult can take 2 children under 12 for free) We have 2 adult bikes you can borrow and the bike shops close by rent out bikes as well. One bike has a childrens seat installed. If you are bringing smaller children you can rent a Christiania bike where the children can sit in the front buckled up and of course wearing helmets. I will help you find the bikes if you need me too. If you come by car it is possible to buy a parking permit, which is a lot cheaper than getting the permits on a day to day basis. 24 hours is appx. 10 euros and you must buy for a period of 5 weekdays. If you get this permit parking on weekends are free and in the evenings you can park anywhere in the city because night rates are the same in all zones. We will of course help you with understanding the application form for the permit. If you are coming by car it is possible to get a parking permit to our area. it is definitely cheaper to get this permit if you are here more than 3 days because we do have paid parking from Monday at 8 until Saturday at 17. I will help you find the application and translate it, as it is on the internet. The price is appx. 10 euro a day and a minimum of 5 days. If you need our place for a longer period, please contact us and we will try to give you a better rate. We are very thorough with the cleaning, but you must know that we have 2 cats, just in case you are allergic. The cats will of course NOT be in the apartment when you are here, they move out in April. Public transportation is very good. If you look at our photos you will find estimated distance in time on most of them The apartment is located in an old building from 1902 and has no elevator. The staircase is very easy to use but if you have a hard time with stairs you should not choose our place. The apartment is on the 5th floor (US term) Be advised we require official ID due to the Airbnb insurance regulations and names and ages of the children. Airbnb doesn’t cover guests that are not registered in the booking. We are very flexible on check in but please don’t expect us to be at the apartment before 8 o’clock.
