Experience our lakes, state parks, wineries, breweries, & local food wizards. Walk our acres of meadow and pond, gather around the firepit, take in the dark and starry sky, or cozy up to the fire with a blanket & good book ~ time away from the usual! Main house sleeps 8 in 2 king bedrooms, 1 twin trundle bedroom, and 1 Lazyboy queen sleeper sofa - all Tuft and Needle mattresses and 100% cotton bedding. Between May-Oct 1, guests may add the Pavilion unit for an additional $100/night to sleep 2 more with queen bedroom and bathroom, totaling space for 10 guests. First floor has a great room with gas fireplace, kitchen, full bath, and tv room with Lazyboy queen sleeper sofa. The second level has 2 king bedrooms (each with new Tuft & Needle mattress and mini-split a/c) and 1 bedroom with daybed and pop-up twin trundle. The house is heated with radiant heat, and equipped with high-speed Internet, Apple TV, and plenty of puzzles, games, books, and dvds for your entertainment. There's even shuffleboard on the mezzanine :-)  Explore the quiet country roads on bike, or hike a nearby segment of the Finger Lakes Trail. You might go exploring by car, checking out the gorgeous lake views around Seneca and debating which of the many wineries, breweries, cider houses, distilleries, and locavore restaurants to explore. We can direct you to kayak rentals, guided fishing trips, public boat launches, and lakeside picnic spots. It couldn't be a bad choice to simply sit and relax by the bird pond in an Adirondack chair, barbecue on the brick patio, play some horseshoes or bocce, or ignite the gas fireplace and read for hours with no regrets! It is close to both Seneca and Cayuga Wine trails, Watkins Glen State Park, Watkins Glen International racetrack, Farm Sanctuary, the world famous Corning Glass Museum, and dozens of wineries, cafes, and brew pubs. Discounted rates for two people bookings Between May 1-Oct 1, guests can add the pavilion queen bedroom and bathroom, bring capacity to 10. This costs $100/night additional. Our home’s water comes from a well- awareness of our guest limits and spreading out water useage are critical to keeping the well flowing! With a queen sleeper sofa, living room, kitchen, and full bathroom on the first floor, it's possible to park, walk up just 2 steps to front door, and then sleep, hang out, cook & eat all on one level.
