Historic Trym House - five star!

We actually have up to 4 rooms available with various combinations of accommodation options. Please get in touch if you have specific requests. En Suite double bedroom on beautiful top floor of historic house with fantastic views of old Westbury on Trym - large, beautifully decorated double bedroom, delightful ensuite bathroom, separate room for relaxing, reading etc. Minutes from Bristol - so much to see and do. Excellent public transport. Ample off street parking. Breakfast included - help yourself to cereal, toast, fruit etc. and Tea or Coffee. Happy to offer some evening meals, negotiable seperately. But plenty of excellent eateries within 5 mins walk. A five star English Heritage listed property, offering lovely and unique accommodation at half the price or less of an equivalent hotel - with an infinitely more personal welcome. If there are more than two of you, there is a delightful single room next to the main guest bedroom, but this will mean sharing the the ensuite bathroom with the main guest bedroom. Westbury on Trym is a busy little village with all amenities, and is on the main bus route through the city going as far as Bristol Temple Meads railway station via all the main attractions of the city in one direction, and out to Cribbs Causeway Shopping Mall in the other direction. It is a single bus journey from Temple Meads or the City Centre to our nearest bus stop, which is about 100 metres away. A bus to the centre will probably take 15 mins. There is plenty of local dining in the village, but buses run every 12 minutes to the city if you wish to explore further afield. If you would like to cook 'at home' then you are more than welcome to have full use of the Aga! (Instructions happily given, if you have never used an Aga before!). We provide a help yourself breakfast, and any special dietary requests can usually be accommodated. The high speed internet is wireless and is usable throughtout the house. If you arrive at Bristol Airport, I can sometimes offer a pickup service a whole lot cheaper than a taxi will cost. Relax, enjoy, make yourselves at home! That's the whole ethos behind this facility. We have had a number of long term guests - especially people who are moving to the area and would like some help getting sorted. We have a lot of experience of finding accommodation and pointing people in the right direction for anyone thinking of spending a bit longer in Bristol. We are very well connected, and having lived in Bristol for over 25 years - we can always point people in the right direction. From picking you up at the airport to moving you to your new appartment, we can help all the way. Guests have the run of the house! Feel free to mix in with us as much or as little as you like. We are never offended if guest decide to keep to themselves at the top of the house (It is very private) , but equally enjoy enormously meeting people and are happy to sit and chat as much as you like.
