Anchorage is a 18th century town house with a quirky, charming character. The house has a great location on the harbour front as well as being just 10 minutes walk from the town centre. The house has a quirky, slightly nautical theme inkeeping with its harbour location. Set over 3 floors; the ground floor comprises the kitchin/diner, shower room and twin bedroom. The first floor houses a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom on the mezzanine floor. The entire top floor comprises the living room, a comfortable space with stunning views over the harbour. (URL HIDDEN) We stay in Stonehaven, just a short drive from Anchorage so will be able to offer any assistance required, and will be available over phone or email at any time. Anchorage is located in a friendly, welcoming neighbourhood; with two real ale pubs/restraunts also on the harbour front as well as a restraunt specialising in seafood. Just yards from the house is the harbour, with its sandy beach - popular with kids and adults alike. Nearby on street parking is available free of charge, there is also a car park close by. The nearest bus stop is a 10 minute walk from the house in the centre of town. There is also a train station 15-20 minutes walk away, and plenty of taxi ranks opperting at all hours. The location of the house lends itself to the local attractions of Stonehaven. Starting from the house there is a lovely, scenic walk along the coastline, past the war memorial to Dunnottar castle. In the opposite direction there is a beautiful board walk around the bay leading to Stonehaven leisure center, the famous heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, putting green, creche and award winning places to eat; notably the Bay Fish and Chips and Auntie Betty's ice cream.
