Three comfortable double en-suite bedrooms in a traditional Sri Lankan family beachside home with two spacious indoor communal areas, a terrace, a large balcony + outside areas, communal kitchen and WIFI. This is a no smoking, quiet family home. Beautiful, light and spacious family home with three en-suite rooms over two floors with two large indoor communal areas, outside space and a balcony with a sea view. We are only a few minutes walk from Medawatta beach. We have three double rooms, sleeping up to six in total. To the communal areas and kitchen. Wifi throughout the house. Meals are also available. Our home is three stories, we have the bottom floor (lower ground floor) which is totally separate to the main house with our own entrance. We will be present during your stay, warmly welcoming you into our home and to Sri Lanka. If we are not home there will always be someone around to look after you, should you need. We wish you make your stay with us memorable. Medawatta is a quiet and safe neighbourhood just outside the town of Matara. The beach is unspoilt, natural and great for surfing. There are shops and restaurants in walking distance. It's cheap and easy to travel in and out of Matara with either a tuk tuk or on one of the local buses. From the airport you can either take a private van straight here. Or either the expressway bus or the train to Matara and then a tuk tuk or bus to our home. Depending how you travel it can take between 2 and 3.5 hours to get here. We can help with any travel planning you need to make.
