Snowdon View consists of two former quarryman's cottages that have been combined to form this wonderful hill-side retreat, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, lying in the outskirts of Holyhead and surrounded by open views. With a proper country feel, the cottage has access via scenic walks from the doorstep to a number of nature reserves. The view encompasses the mountains of Snowdonia in the distance and the peaceful setting make an excellent starting point for many walks that can be taken from the doorstop. The cottage is situated near two RSPB nature reserves. Supermarkets There is a wealth of supermarkets just off the A55, Tesco, Morrison, Asda, Wilkinson, B&M Bargains and Iceland all in the same retail park. There is also a Co-op and a butcher in the town centre, as well as a Lidl near the harbour terminal. There is a small local shop about a mile from the cottage, towards Holyhead, which sells milk, bread and newspapers. Transport Ferries If you fancy a day trip to Ireland, the Harbour has 4 sailings a day to Dublin taking around 2 hours. Train Station Holyhead station is a North Wales Coast Line station, operating trains direct to Chester and London. There is a free car park for train users, a bike park and a taxi rank.
