Its convenient location is easy to find, close to shopping, seven miles south of the capitol, and nine miles to the University of Wisconsin. Madison is known for its bike paths that circles the entire city, their farmers market located at the capitol square, and festivals all summer long. My residence has a driveway that can fit four cars and also two spaces for smaller vehicles that can be parked in the garage during the winter months. If you are interested in public transportation, the closest bus stop is a short walk to the corner of Hayes and Portage Roads where the city bus stops every 30 minutes. Our city is known for it's friendliness to bikers and provides many biking paths for those who prefer to get around by bike. Finally, there are several cab companies available or if you are used to catching an Uber-well we have those to! Madison is Wisconsin's capitol city. It is a nice place to live, work and attend school. It offers many annual events that caters to people from all walks of life. I moved to Madison to attend college at the University in 1974 and I'm still here enjoying everything Madison has to offer!
