Located north of Thames along the picturesque Pacific Coast Highway, Te Puru holds one of the great holiday get-away’s, Seaview Cottage. Te Puru is a quiet, peaceful place with great views of the Sunset. Our beautiful 1 bedroom cottage has fabulous modern facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, living-room and bbq area and its only a few steps to the beach. In addition the cottage is within walking distance to the local dairy, parks, boat-ramp and open tennis courts. 'Seaview Cottage' is a fully self-contained 'motel-style' bnb with… ~ Separate bedroom with queen bed ~ ~ Full kitchen facilities, including full-sized fridge/freezer ~ ~ Comfortable dining/lounge area with a fold-out couch bed ~ ~ Modern Bathroom ~ ~ Fully Insulated, including an Air Conditioning Unit ~ ~ Freeview Tv and Wifi Internet ~ ~ A deck with barbeque for Al fresco dining ~ ~ Separate Laundry Facilities ~ ~ Fully fenced section and a dedicated parking space ~ It is a stand alone cottage on the section, We are available to assist with any question, and interaction is as much or as little as you like. We live on the premises so you will be able to ask us for any requirements you may need. We are close to local dairy (just around the corner) for any supplies you may need as well as takeaways. Boat ramp at end of the street. The next bay over 'Waiomu' offers a local cafe, fishing supplies with canoe hire, and Fishing Charter services at the end of the bay. We have several parks in the area for those wanting to play tennis, bowls, and playground for children which is nestled close to a 300 year old Pohutukawa. Te Puru and offers native bush walks, and a fresh water stream that ha swimming holes. Waimou Kauri grove and old mine reminants walk is close by. With a short drive you are able to explore areas of interest. - Arts, History - Gold and gum, Walking tracks, Local Cuisine from dining in to picking your own mussels from many spots along the coast, just to name a few. Stay is based on a couple staying, extra people will be charged at an extra $15.00 per person.
