Welcome to our home. Private room in a shared house. Furnished, bright and airy double bedroom in period house overlooking the back garden. The room includes a double bed, wardrobe, mirror and chair. (towels provided and wash accessories). Access to shared kitchen, dining room and bathroom. Within the bedroom we have an original unfinished wall we encourage our guests to tag to keep a history of the people who have stayed at our home. My wife and I are artists; very friendly and welcoming. Private room in shared house based in East London, Zone 3: Furnished, bright and airy double bedroom in period house overlooking the back garden located in quiet area off High Street South in East Ham (Newham). The room includes a double bed, wardrobes, mirror and chair. Access to fully equipped kitchen, living room and shared bathroom. We brought our home 2 years ago from Mr Tickner who lived here all his life. We promised him that we would keep his original sentiment in the house which we feel we have honoured. We restored our home with Shoreditch twist; mixing the original period features with a new modern kitchen and bathroom extension. Within the bedroom we have an original unfinished wall that we encourage our guests to tag (name and COO) to keep a history of the people who have stayed at our home. We are artists very friendly and welcome all. Our room is available Monday to Sunday with a minimum book of 2 day. The area is quiet but with great community feeling and very friendly. Near local pubs Red Lion and Denmark arms with good local food and live music; hosting community events. Near Central park which has a café serving sourdough toasties (which are amazing) as well as healthy brunch menu for easy living. Bus stops 5 minutes away with a 7 - 10 minute bus ride or 15 minutes walk from East Ham Station (District Line) and Beckton (DLR) with a very good connections to central London. Beckton DLR takes you straight to Tower Bridge, (5 stops to the Excel) Alternatively you can get the 300 bus which takes 20mins. whereas East Ham is two tube stops away from West Ham where you can catch the DLR, C2C and the Jubilee (Canning Town, Waterloo).
