Fairy tale Chateau set in lovely grounds. The Chateau is ideal to celebrate family reunions, special birthdays and wedding anniversaries. We also host weddings. We can organise everything for you - from fantastic food to fireworks! Enjoy the luxury of renting the whole Château to share with family or friends. Château Ribagnac was built in 1580 and has been lovingly restored. We can provide sumptuous evening meals or just B&B. The rooms are all different with their own character, but all have lovely bright bathrooms. We have a mixture of antiques and quirky pieces with amazing fireplaces to snuggle up in front of in the Winter. The atmosphere is friendly not stuffy, and the grounds are beautiful and spacious (86 acres!). We aim to make you feel at home while you experience a bit of history and style of times gone by.... We are easy to get to from Paris (only three hours and you breathe easy and enjoy the sound of birds and tranquility of the countryside). If you enjoy cities too, then we're about 20 minutes from historic Limoges. Families are welcome (we have a great playarea) and couples will relax in the Honeymoon Suite or with a good bottle of wine from our cellar. We have double rooms, family rooms or you can rent the whole Chateau. Discounts are available off season or for groups. Please see our other entries: you can book rooms seperately. We also have cottages available. We have a large living room to relax in and a tea room with fridge, microwave, kettle tea, coffee, tisanes. Plenty of baby equipment too. The dining room is spacious and has a grand stone fireplace where we have a roaring open fire in the winter. Dinners are lovely beneath starry skies in front of the Château in the summer time. Lots of lovely picnic spots. You can take a dip in the swimming pool or try wild swimming in our lake! Shared heated swimming pool We're here to help you plan your stay and can advise/book activities and restaurants. We can organise functions too Stunning lakes and rolling hills...history from Richard Lionheart to Second World War sites. Plenty of outdoor activities and museums too; We are 30 minutes from Limoges airport and 25 minutes from Limoges station (where you can also rent a car). We're in the countryside so you need a car to make the most of the area, but there are plenty of walks to do from the property. We provide breakfast of fresh bread & croissants, homemade jams & fruit along with cereals, yogurts, tea, coffee, hot chocolate & fruit juice. We have a "kitchenette" for hot drinks and snacks and storing picnic things, but guests do not have access to a full kitchen. We serve tables d'hotes (dinner and early kids meals) and can cater for food allergies & vegetarians.
