Spacious, comfortable three bedroom home, overlooking beautiful Lake King. Property features large living areas and good sized bedrooms, perfect for a couples getaway or large family holiday. Fully equipped kitchen, outdoor entertaining areas and plenty of room for an extra tent or parking. Eagle Point is a small rural township, nestled between Bairnsdale and the boating capital Paynesville. It is surrounded by beautiful natural waterways and the amazing Mitchell River silt jetties. My house is in a very small, quiet township that borders Lake King and is a popular destination for those who enjoy swimming, boating, fishing,bike riding, golf or nature walks. It's only a short walk (50mts) from the house to the foreshore and main jetty. The main bedroom has a queen bed and ensuite, the second bedroom has a double and single beds, the third has a king single and a single bed. Large fully equipped kitchen, with dining table which extends to seat 8 guests. Spacious lounge room with comfortable couches where the whole family can relax and a cosy wood combustion heater for the colder nights. Guests will have access to the entire house. Love to catch up with visitors and give advise on local attractions when I'm around, but happy to take messages regarding queries or problems guests might have at any time. There is a folder outlining my favourite things to do, places to go and instructions to help with house appliances etc. Peaceful quiet setting with excellent access to waterways and nature reserves. My house overlooks Lake King and Eagle Point is a popular destination for those who enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, bike riding, golf or nature walks. It is home to the world famous Mitchell River silt jetties which can be viewed from the Bluff lookout and boat ramps to access both the river and lake systems. We're 10kms from the large town of Bairnsdale which has extensive shopping, a cinema, heated indoor pool and bowls club. It's a short 5kms drive to Paynesville, the boating capital of East Gippsland which offers beautiful views of Lake King. The township has great cafes, restaurants and the unique Raymond Island ferry crossing, where you can explore the islands bird life and koala population. Boat trips are available to explore the lakes and access the spectacular 90 mile beach. For those visiting in the winter months we are 2 1/2 hrs drive from the ski fields of DinnerPlain and Mt Hotham. Public transport is limited to a local bus travelling between Bairnsdale and Paynesville. Own transport required. Plenty of room to park extra vehicles or a boat. For those travellers only staying for one night, breakfast is available on request. The house is dog friendly, with a fully fenced backyard and the front gates can be closed giving the entire yard area.
