Beautiful villa, in the middle of France (the Loire region) 4 km from the village of Coullons. The villa offers peace and tranquility in the countryside, a place to exercise outside and in, plenty of opportunity for musicians (baby grand piano) and cater for families with children. The villa offers: - Two ground floor bedrooms (each with a king-size double bed), a bathroom with a bath and shower, a separate toilet. - The (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) sq ft) open plan living room and kitchen are based on the first floor. This living room has access to the garden and access to an enclosed terraced balcony (a lovely place to eat breakfast or drink coffee in the morning sun). - A few steps further up the stairs you will find a bedroom, a bathroom with a shower, a separate toilet, and open office space on the landing. The bedroom is furnished with two single beds. - In the basement you will find some gym equipment and a table tennis table which has windows that overlook the garden. The utility room with washing machine can be found here too. Bed linen and towels are provided for each guest. The garden, an old orchard, offers a lovely space to relax in the sun or shade. For children it offers the ideal place to play football, play in the sandpit or jump on the trampoline. The neighbouring woods and stream offer further adventure. The villa is situated perfectly for a nice walk, a run, or a cycle ride – whether it’s mountain biking or road biking. The village of Coullons offers a supermarket, a choice of bakeries, pharmacy, butchers, bar, restaurant, garden centre and library. If you like to play Golf, this is possible in Sully sur Loire (27 holes - 20 min. drive), Sancerre (18 holes - 45 min. drive), Marcilly en Villette (18 holes - 35 min. drive), Limère /Ardon (18 holes – 50 min. drive) et Donnery (18 holes - 50 min-drive). The area offers several restaurants; more information is available in the villa. A little further out you can fish or hunt in the Sologne, visit castles on the Loire river, visit the wine region of Sancerre & Pouilly Fume, swim or sail/surf in l’etang du Puits Cerdon and simply enjoy the peace and tranquillity that the region has to offer. Both the neighbouring town of Gien on the Loire river, known for its pottery and tableware (faience), and the town of Aubigny sur Nere are just a 20-minute drive away. Cities such as Orleans and Bourges are within a 60-minute reach.
