Your bedroom is furnished with a comfortable queen size (4’ wide) bed, spacious wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet and chair. You have an en-suite with corner shower, WC, basin, shaver socket, mirror and heated towel rail. The room has a number-pad door lock for your privacy & security. The building is powered by solar energy, and we endeavour to be environmentally responsible. As well as your private en-suite bedroom, you have use of 2 kitchens – a small kitchenette on the ground floor (with kettle, toaster, sink & fridge) next to your room, and the large fully equipped kitchen-diner in the converted bank vault on the lower ground floor. We have an office in the same building, so there is generally someone available during weekday office hours. Being in the town centre, Opal Bank is perfect for business or pleasure in South Cheshire. Shops, banks, cafes, pubs, restaurants and supermarkets are all on the doorstep. For fitness, the Crewe Lifestyle Centre is less than 100m away, with its new swimming pool, state-of-the-art gym and library. For entertainment, the Lyceum Theatre is just four minutes' walk. The beautiful Edwardian theatre hosts plays, musicals, ghost hunts and regular comedy from top celebrity comedians. The bus stop outside the front door will get you all over Cheshire and Staffordshire. There are bus stops directly outside the property with buses to Crewe rail station, the Business Park, Leighton Hospital, Bentley, Haslington, Alsager, Kidsgrove, Hanley, Tunstall, Burslem, Sandbach, Middlewich, Winsford, Macclesfield, Chester, Nantwich, Shavington, Newcastle & Keele. Crewe rail station is about a 15-minute walk away, or a short bus ride. There are several car parks in central Crewe, with free periods or varying charges. At the rear of Opal Bank are single yellow lines, allowing parking 6pm - 8am and all day Sundays (please check signs when you park!). Please contact us if you need more details. Please note that the property is on three storeys with 20 stairs between each floor, and with a high step up to the front door and a small step at the rear door, which is on the lower ground floor. For breakfast we provide you with a welcome basket of juice, fruit pots and cereal bars; while there are some cereals, teas & coffee in the kitchens. A Guide Dog for the Blind may be present in the office next door and occasionally in Opal Bank itself.
