The Snug, a small compact en-suite private space for one person which has been converted from a bathroom to a stylish 'Pod Style' bunk room. Situated in the vibrant and cosmopolitan West End. Parking space available. 5 mins walk to DMU. Please note the room is located in a city centre location and there are bars and restaurants close by so please expect some noise, especially at weekends Separate to our main living area, our newly converted pod style room is incredibly comfortable, stylish and private. Guest access is your own unique en-suite snug style room. It really is up to you how much you interact, whatever you are comfortable with. Lively at the weekend and with the potential for noise late at night the vibrant and cosmopolitain West End has lots of bars and restaurants and close to the City Centre, DeMontfort University, Leicester University numerous local live music venues and tourist attractions including King Richard III visitors centre and Leicester Cathedral. For Turkish try Istanbul Grill or Yesim which are 2 minutes walk away. For cheap and tasty vegetarian curry there is Saardar and Mithaas and if you like a drink then there are many bars on Braunstone Gate. Try 96 Degrees on Braunstone Gate which is a great independent coffee bar. Walking distance to City Centre is 10 minutes. 5 minutes to DMU Campus. 10 minutes to Leicester Royal Infirmary. 15 minutes to Leicester University. 20 minute walk to Leicester railway and bus stations. Also easy links to the M1 and M69 motorways being less than 3 miles away. If you like exercise there is a fantastic swimming pool 2 minutes walk away and a Pure Gym 10 minutes walk from the accommodation. The Great Central Railway Cycle Path is on the doorstep and great for a run as is the Grand Union Canal and Aylestone Meadows Nature Reserve. This is a small space, rather like a high end railway sleeper carriage. Everything has been designed with the space in mind, the room has an en-suite bathroom - there is a sliding privacy door. The top bunk folds down, when you arrive the bed will be in the locked away position. Bedding is stored under the sofa.
