It also has an indoor fireplace, open plan living area with a kitchen, dining and lounge area, a modern bathroom and a comfortable King Size bed. Located in 24 acres of historical Dennarque Estate gardens, which have been featured in local and international media, and regarded by many as the best cold climate garden in Australia; The gardens were designed over 135 years ago by the then Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney director, Mr Charles Moore; The Gardens still retain a large number of original plantings that were introduced from various countries around the world and planted in the late 19th Century; There are many rare species of maples, rhododendrons, camellias, dahlias and many other exotic and rare plants; A Japanese influenced garden has recently been added to Estate; Rarely open to the public, the exotic cool climate gardens of Dennarque Estate are now available in-house guests. There is a dedicated parking spot for Wisteria Lodge in front of the building, as you drive in. on call 24/7 Mount Wilson, the heritage garden village, is in the Blue Mountains, only 2 hours from Sydney. There are many wonderful drives within the area, towards Mount Irvine, and towards Mount Victoria, Blackheath, Medlow Bath, Katoomba, Leura, as well as towards Lithgow. The area has magnificent natural bushland and rainforest, walks and canyons as well as historic houses and gardens, cool climate some of which are open to the public. Please bring your tennis gear to enjoy a game of tennis. Also don't forget your hiking shoes as there's a number of bushwalking tracks to enjoy in and around the village.
