Renovated old farmhouse with a panoramic view of the Pyrenees, large open spaces, character, simplicity and freedom ... The building is at the end of the road, at the top of the hill, quiet and far enough from neighbors to have fun without disturbing. The living room with pool table and piano, the nearby forest, the esplanade, the shady garden, the view and the veranda are nice assets. On the 23ha property we also have 5 Airstream trailers for rent, a grocery store and a spa. It has been renovated in an organic way in harmony with our inspirations, our finds and our travels. Many craftsmen and artists have been through Belrepayre over the past 40 years leaving behind paintings, scluptures, woodwork ... character. The living room is large one with relax Moroccan sofas, a large monks'table where you can eat or play altogether up to 14 people, a pool table, a piano tuned every year for Melomanes and a fireplace where you can sit in it. A room where it is good to live with family or friends. The bathroom upstairs is big and unusual with its great mosaïc shower botom and it beautifull window. What else ! A bathroom with sauna accesible from the outside. And also, on our property of 23ha we have 5 vintage American style airstream trailer to hire as bed and breakfast, so if you want to come as a tribe there is enough to accommodate everyone respecting the privacy of each other. Do not hesitate to ask more information about it all. You will have access to all of what we call "The Big House" (we live in "The Little House" separated from the big one by a barn) The Big House is composed as follows: 1 kitchen, a large living room, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with sauna and toilet, 1 bathroom with shower and separate bath, 1 toilet and on the esplanade, a veranda. The cellar / reserve is the only room that will be reduced access and shared with us owners only, you can store there your fresh vegetables and we reserve you some space in our freezer. We make sure not to go there when you are there. The entrance to the house is through the kitchen, functional and well equipped (microwave, large gas stove, electric oven, dishwasher, small fridge), counter, the stairs to go to the first floor is also in this entry and under the stairs ... the broom cupboard! Entrance is also possible through the glass door of the living room. This room consists of a relax area with large Moroccan sofas, an old monks table where you can eat or play up to 14 people, a pool table, a piano and a fireplace where you can sit in it. A room where it is good to live as a family or around friends. On the first floor, at the top of the stairs, WC, a large bathroom with atypical decor with separate shower and bath, the Yellow Room overlooking the back yard with 1 or 2 single beds and a school blackboard to have fun and draw ... on the right the corridor which gives on 2 bedrooms which have view on the mountains, the Blue Room, double bed, small washbasin, white and blue deco, furniture 1900; the Green Room, double bed, possibility of adding one or 2 additional mattresses on the floor, 2 armchairs, a small washbasin, 1930 furniture. Outside : The esplanade with sunbeds, table, chairs, parasol, BBQ. The detached veranda with table, chairs and benches. The bathroom / sauna with shower and toilet. You will not be alone lost in the woods, we are there, we also rent 5 bed and breakfast in vintage American aluminium caravans on our property of 23ha. You like the open spaces, the nature but do not like to feel alone lost in the jungle, you like to take a vacation to disorient you ... do not hesitate to take the step and click on "book"! We live in Belrepayre, in a house that is separated by a barn from the one you rent. We will be happy to share with you the energy of this unusual place. On site you'll be able to find local products frozen or in jars or tins, and we always have a little reserve to share incase we or you don't want to go down in the "world" It happens that spontaneously we have a « star night » with cool music, an aperitif or a BBQ, you are welcome to join us if you wish. Looking forward to welcoming you. Belrepayre is located in the North of the Pyrenees Cathares county. A country of art and history with a past ranging from Merovingian to textile industrial hives through the Middle Ages and the Cathars. At the nature level, a rich and varied landscape from north to south, hills, mountains, rivers, lakes, forests ... At the level of cultural and sporting events there is a program of festivals and village festivals throughout the season. Places to visit: the bamboo farms, the bison farm, the Merovingian necropolis of Taberianne in Teilhet, Mirepoix Medieval bastide, Vals, castles of Montsegur, Lagarde, Roquefixade, the waterfalls of Roquefixade, the textile museum ... For athletes: canoeing, horse riding, greenway, climbing, mountain bike trail ... There are no public transport to get to our place, the nearest are the airports of Carcassonne(50km, Ryanair only), Toulouse blagnac(90km) the train station of Pamiers (23km). You can organise to rent a car or we can organise with you to come and pick you up and then you can rent a bike ... and profit of our in and out to go to places. We do recommand that you hire a car. Belrepayre is quite away in the country side, we have wifi on site but the 3G works much better, there are even islands of 4G on the esplanade. So better use your phones for internet connexions. The first village is 4km but not even a grocery store, the nearest bakery is Rieucros 8km, Mirepoix with all its shops, pharmacy, doctors ... is 12km, big market on Monday, fruits and vegetables market on Thursday atin. If you have forgotten something we have a grocery store (general store) on site with local produce and almost all organic, fruits and vegetables, beer wine and fruit juices ...
