Placé dans une position étonnante, il est parfait pour des vacances au lac, sous le signe des sports nautiques ou des moments de détente, ou il peut servir de base à l’exploration du fameux lac de Côme: le célèbre Bellagio est à environ 10 kms. Le balcon, où vous pourrait prendre le petit-déjeuner, déjeuner ou dîner, vous offrira une merveilleuse vue panoramique du lac. Starting from May (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Lavarell House opens also its Lavarell Garden: a wide and private deck where relaxing overlooking the stunning Lake Como provided with a big table for your lunch and beach chairs for your sunbathing. The apartment can be reached only by foot. It takes only 5 minutes walking down the steps from the main road where there is a free parking (please note that it is subject to availability). I don't suggest Lavarell House for guests with walking difficulties. I provide towels both for bathroom and kitchen. In the bathroom you can find bathsoap, shampoo and an hairdryer. In the kitchen you can find all you need for cooking/eating and also a selection of tea and coffee. I provide also a basket with marmalade and crisp toasts for your breakfast. The standard bed is a queen-size loft bed (as you can see in the photo). If you prefer, I can arrange for you the sofa bed. Please, let me know in advanced which bed you prefer. The ancient and picturesque town of Nesso lies at the beginning of the homonym valley overlooking the lake. It has been an important town since medieval times, with an interesting castle of which today remain just a few traces of its walls.The river Tuf and Nosè meet at Nesso and form a spectacular waterfall. The spectacular foaming mass falling over the rocks carved by the natural fury form a gorge called "Orrido di Nesso" that divides the town in two. The waterfall is visible from the Provincial Road or, descending to the lakeside along the characteristics steps alongside the houses, that start from a Roman footbridge that connects the banks of the watercourse and lead alongside the houses. It is particularly exciting in spring or after abundant rain which swells the course of the Tuf and the Nosè. This roman bridge (Ponte della Civera) is also famous for having be the set of Alfred Hitchcock first film "The pleasure garden". The waterfall and the bridge are very close to Lavarell House. South of Nesso lies the village Careno that is part of the municipal district. Seen from the lake the village has a peculiar triangle shape with its top directed towards the lake. with the Romanesque church of San Martino (XII century) at the apex. The cobble stone streets with arches and narrow passages wind between the old houses. Nesso is one of the most characteristic and appreciated Como Lake towns. Nesso is 10 km from Bellagio and 13 from Como. You can reach them also by ferry and bus. There are all the facilities: bank, post office, pharmacy, bus stop, ferry stop, local shops, bar and restaurant. CITY TAX: 1,50 euro per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights.Children under 12 years old are excluded. From the seventh night onwards you do not pay more tax. The City Tax is excluded from the price of the apartment e you have to pay it by cash at the arrival (from April, 1st to October, 31th). REGISTRATION: Every guest must provide a valid identity document as prescribed by the Italian law. So, we will not accept people without documents. The data of our guests are treated in accordance with current privacy legislation. CHECK-IN times are by arrangement between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. Later check-ins (up until 10 p.m.) can be arranged in special circumstances or emergencies (such as a delayed flight or car breakdown). For check-ins after 10 p.m., by prior arrangement, you will charge of 20 euros fee. Please note, we usually have guests checking-in the same day that guests are checking-out, for this reason the availability of early check-ins or late check-outs must be verified and agreed.
