Lakeview - duplex room with balcony

Spacious private two-level duplex room (49m2). Perfect for couples/friends. Top level (gallery): 1 double bed (140 x 200 cm) and 1 single couch bed (90 x 200 cm). Lower level: 1 double couch bed (180 x 200 cm), rattan lounge table and chairs, TV, Wi-Fi, fridge, coffee making facilities, balcony w. views to lake/Alps. Free carpark in front of house. Hallstatt is 45 mins. by train/car. The bathroom (shower, loo, washbasin) is shared with the other airbnb room. 3 cats and 1 dog in the House ^=..=^ This is a very large family home (450 m2) divided into two. The house is light and open-plan with wooden floors. We live upstairs, my mother lives downstairs. in her own flat. The duplex guest room is very private, spacious and can accommodate up to 5 persons. Suitable for families or close friends! The shower room (WC, washbasin, shower) is opposite the room and is shared with the other airbnb room. The duplex room has a lovely view of the beautiful lake "Traunsee" and mountains from the windows and private balcony. There is a fridge and coffee/tea making facility in the duplex room. The kitchen is through my open main living room. Therefore I ask that the kitchen is only used until 8 pm. Our private rooms are upstairs. You will get your own key, so you can come and go as you please. You may use my kitchen to prepare light meals, e.g. soups/omlette/pasta/breakfast etc. but no raw meat or fish please! In the evenings you may only use my kitchen until 8 pm, as we like to relax after that. PLEASE NO LATER THAN THAT! My work schedule differs every day. Please ask and I'll be happy to assist where I can. Quiet residential neighbourhood with large detached homes near the lake. Nearest train station is Gmunden. If you arrive by train take the tram into Gmunden. From Gmunden you can either take a bus to Altmünster (nearest bus stations Solarbad or Bezirkssporthalle) or walk (about 20 mins). I'll be happy to pick you up, (work permitting), otherwise a taxi will cost approx 8 Euros. Walking distance to lake 5 minutes, Altmünster 10 minutes, Gmunden 20 minutes. Hallstatt is about 45 minutes by scenic train ride, Salzburg 1 hour. Altmünster is about 45 minutes by train from Hallstatt and 20 minutes from “secret” Langbathsee. If you come by train, please note that this is a semi-rural/village location, i. e. I am very happy to pick you up and take you to the train station work permitting (there is a tram and bus also, or taxi - about 8 Euros). You can easily walk to Gmunden (about 20 minutes) and Altmünster (10 minutes) where there are supermarkets. Both are nice walks. The lake and its Esplanade are 5 minutes on foot.
