A 5 minute level walk to the beautiful Oxwich Bay and this leads you to Three Cliffs Bay. It is a short drive to Gower's beaches,woodlands and beauty spots. You can walk to the Michelin Star Beach House restaurant and Oxwich Bay Hotel. It is 20 minute drive to The Mumbles with its boutique shopping, Pier and Castle. Our apartment is a perfect place for a relaxing getaway or a busy week of activities such as cycling, running, walking,surfing, stand up paddle boarding,kayaking and swimming. Outside there is a small private garden with table and chairs. There is a double bed in bedroom. Shower room with easy access. We can provide a travel cot but you will need to bring bedding for the travel cot. Vodaphone,EE and O2 have good mobile phone reception. The TV has a DVD player and there is a large range of DVD’s for you to use. There are maps and walking guides of the area and guide books for you to use. Entire apartment. There is room to park your car outside the apartment on the right hand side. We live next door to the apartment so if you have any problems we can deal with them straight away. The Apartment is on a village lane with views to the front of a field and friendly resident horses. Oxwich village has a beautiful 13th century church and also has its own Castle. The village is a well known holiday destination due to it’s wonderful location, nature reserve and the long sandy beach of Oxwich Bay and Three Cliffs Bay WHERE TO EAT The Beach House restaurant is located on Oxwich beach and has 1 Michelin Star and 3 AA Rosettes. I recommend that you book early. The Oxwich Bay Hotel which was a former rectory is child friendly and allows dogs. It serves food and drink every day, hosts weddings and has sea views when you sit outside. There are 2 beach shops on Oxwich Beach which sell ice creams, coffees, hot and cold food such as fish and chips, fish finger rolls and wraps to take away but you can also eat outside. The 2 shops sell buckets and spades, beach toys,sun hats, sun lotion etc. The Dunes is a fish and chip and Ice Cream shop opposite the car park which has a small supermarket and sells beach toys, wet suits, beach shoes and gifts to take back after your holiday. ACTIVITIES Oxwich Water Sports offers a full range of water activities and training for all ages. Gower Coast adventures is also situated on Oxwich Beach and gives guided tours of the beautiful Gower Coast it is an unforgettable experience. There are beautiful walks on the beaches, salt marshes and woodlands for exploring. PETROL STATION The nearest petrol station with a small supermarket is a 10 minute drive from the apartment. It is on the route to Rhossilli Bay, Horton and Port Eynon. 3 minute walk to the bus stop from the apartment.
