Located in the heart of Brittany in the village of Gomené, Côtes-D'Armor, the traditional Breton stone cottages with features such as exposed stone walls and beams, are fully renovated and well appointed Thery are located in a tranquil rural setting but only a few minutes drive from the national routeway and easy access to Brittanys attractions . MERLIN COTTAGE is the largest and accomodates up to 7 people. This offers spacious, high quality accommodation consisting of a downstairs large open plan kitchen , dining and living area which is ideal to accomodate all in your party for communal dining and shared time together.A spiral stair case leads to access to three comfortable bedrooms and large shower room with WC. The master bedroom, with 4-poster double bed, has views over the courtyard and gardens, the second bedroom with views over fields and woodlands ,has a double bed and the third bedroom has a single bed and set of single bunks. NIGHTINGALE COTTAGE - offers accomodation for 4 people in 2 bedrooms - with the flexibility of a sofa bed downstairs should a separate bed be required. Downstairs is an open plan kitchen , dining and living area and upstairs the master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom a set of single bunks. accomodated downstairs if living space is not a priority in this cottage. There is a third gite in this row that can be rented at an additional fee and accomodates no more than 2 people. Beautiful rural setting but accessible from St. Malo and Caen ferries (1h15 and 2h25 respectively) and Dinard and Rennes airports (1h20 and 50 minutes respectively). We are within easy reach of historic towns such as Josselin and Moncontour, Brocéliande the legendary Arthurian forest at Paimpont and beaches are within an hours drive . Ideal location for sightseeing, birdwatching, walking, cycling, or just relaxing. The gites are within the grounds of our former farmhouse and bakery and whilst you will have full access to over an acre of stunning gardens with countryside and forest views each gite also benefits from its own private seating and BBQ area. Our swimming pool is also available for your use (Summer Season Only (CLOSED OCTOBER TO 1st June - subject to water temperatures) - the pool has the advantage of being covered by a removable heat dome that slides back on warm days but can be left in place to allow swimming should you be unlucky with the weather.Boules court within the grounds. Table tennis and outdoor games available.The price is inclusive of bed linen and towels for in gite use (swimming pool towels can be hired). Wood burning stove and electric heating. Only those listed on the rental agreement will be allowed to use the cottages , grounds and facilities. SORRY NO PETS ACCEPTED. Guests will be met on arrival and provided with keys. Each gite has its own private outdoor seating and BBQ area but guests are free to access over an acre of stunning gardens , use the pool (June to end of September), boules court and outdoor games and facilities. We live on site and are here to give you as much or as little help as you need. We are happy to help you plan your activities .
