Professional photographers modern and bright 2 bedroom flat overlooking Queens Park in Shawlands. Amazing bank of windows running the entirety of the flat offer west & south-facing views with loads of light and incredible sunsets. It's an end unit on the top floor so no loud upstairs neighbors and only a couple of shared walls. Perfectly sized for travelers and visitors, this flat has amazing views, a well-appointed kitchen, a cozy fireplace and lovely photographs throughout. An induction hob is easy to to cook on and the kitchen also houses a dishwasher and washer for your laundry. Bedrooms are modern and comfortable - my mum does our linens and line dries them for that fresh-smelling feel. Bathroom has an electric shower, but does not offer an option for a bath. There is an upstairs loft with skylight that is off limits to guests (it's my personal space) but spills light into the flat. The entire flat is yours except for the small loft upstairs which is a storage unit and office for my personal things. There is a designated parking space. My brother will meet you on site and be on hand to help with any questions you have! I travel back and forth to the US on photography projects, but I'm always available via cell or email. Shawlands is a bustling neighborhood about 2 miles out of the city centre. Our flat is two blocks off the high street and offers easy access to delicious restaurants, groceries, flower shops, yoga studios and neighboring Queens Park. It's the perfect spot for popping to the shops for pastry and coffee in the morning or running out for some last-minute ingredients for dinner. Of course, several pubs and bars are close by for an evening pint or cocktail! A train into the heart of Glasgow (East Kilbride line) is a 5 minute walk away (Crossmyloof station), there are busses every few mins and a taxi into town is about 10 minutes and costs about £6. Due to the high floor, there is no central heating in the building, so in the winter every room has its own space heater which will need to be turned off/on and adjusted individually during winter months. The apartment has a new shower but does not have hot water to the bath tub, so sorry no bathes.
